Division E - The Essence of Toastmasters

Division E Governor, Kathryn Robbins

The Values of Toastmasters International

*Focusing on the critical success factors as specified by the district educational and membership goals.

Team Member Highlights

Division E Governor Kathryn Robbins
"Kathryn Robbins has been a TM since November, 07. She got her start in Club 55, Pushing the Envelope, which introduced her to the fabulous world of Toastmasters, International. Since then, she has visited and joined many clubs and served in a variety of different club officer roles. In addition, she has served as Area Governor, Assistant Division Governor, Club Contest Chair and co-chair, and volunteered anywhere she possibly can. Kathryn is proud to be a Toastmaster, and loves hearing from other members about their experiences and growth. More than anything, she loves watching new members grow and develop their skills."

Area E2 Governor Kathleen Moon
Toastmasters began for me around 1985. I joined a breakfast club in the City of Orange and knew my calling in life was verified. I’d always wanted to be a speaker, dreamt of it; never in my wildest conscious thoughts did I think it could happen.

Later I joined a club in Yorba Linda. There I won two contests, held office was having fun got married, and that ended that! Each time I took a break from Toastmasters I would utilize the skills I learned on my job. This led me to many promotions and greater income. I would not be here today, as a successful business woman if not for my Toastmasters journey. I have truly grown a lot and up to the challenge of greater personal growth!

My home club, Club 55 Pushing the Envelope is a young Toastmasters Club, a challenge I appreciate and undertake. Watching individuals grow in speaking and leadership skills is a great delight to me.

This is my second opportunity as Area Governor for E2, a challenge and quest to assist all those ‘think I can’t’ to be ‘yes I cans’! I’m assisted by Ramon Cornejo (awesome young speaker and writer) and together with each member we will move forward to great growth.

Together we will spread the word about the awesome opportunity Toastmasters provides to assist in our growth; too gather thoughts, conduct meetings, excel in leadership and get our point across in a timely fashion! What’s not to love!

This year 2010 I received my DTM! A feat of extraordinaire significance! “Yes, I can!"
