All TOPS contests and activities are completely voluntary and it is up to each member whether or not she wishes to participate.

The person in charge of the contest is indicated in parentheses.

• Inspiration Beads - ongoing. Add a bead to your string for each 1/4 pound lost. Put on a red bead for a gain and a green bead for a turtle. Let's see how long our strings get!
• Bathing Suit - end of January through first weigh-in in June. Contest costs $1.00 to enter. The prize will be a manicure and a pedicure. Everyone has a bathing suit poster, to color any way you like. You will receive one polka dot (in a contrasting color) for each pound lost. Fractions of a pound must be saved until they add up to a pound. At the end of the contest, the person with the most polka dots wins. (Chris)

• Bunny Trail - hop along, starting in the Spring. Details to be announced. (Theresa)
• Hoist the Flag - this will be a group contest, running from Memorial Day through 4th of July. See which group can raise their flag the highest by losing the most weight! (Cynthia)
• Picnic Basket - this will run from the beginning of July until our late-August luau. Everyone will bring in one item for the picnic basket to kick off the contest (napkins, condiments, etc.), then bring in another item any week you gain. At the end of the contest, whoever has lost the most will be awarded the basket at our luau. (Chris)
• Casino - this contest will run in the Fall. Earn a playing card each week you lose, and the person with the best "hand" will win a prize. (Cynthia)
• There will be additional contests for the winter holidays, to be announced.
