Anyone interested in helping out with the VMS PTSA for the 2010-2011 school year in any capacity, please email the President, Stephanie Ledgerwood, on her link to the far left. We do have a few openings to appoint that include VP Ways & Means and chairman positions for other activities on the board. Our board can only function with the help of volunteers, dedicating their time to make events and programs happen at VMS. No matter how small, or how large you want to help, please let us know.

Please be sure to fill out your volunteer form when they come home in August 2010 in the first day packets.

Join the VMS PTSA: Memberships are $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for students. Membership envelopes will be in your student packets.

Reflections: The theme for this year is "Together We Can". Students can be thinking ahead for ideas for projects in the following categories: literature, photography, visual arts, dance choreography, film production, and musical composition.

Domino's Pizza monthly fundraiser: VMS will receive $1.00 for every order on the second Friday of each month when you tell them you are from Vandenberg Middle School. Participaing stores are Vandenberg Village, Lompoc, Solvang, Orcutt, Santa Maria, and Nipomo.

Sign up for eScrip: This is a free program, at no cost to you, where VMS will receive a percentage of your purchases from participating stores. Go to www.escrip.com to register, click "Welcome", then "Sign up". Our group ID number is 500018411.

VMS PTSA: The last General Association meeting for this school year was held at Open House on May 20th, 2010. The next General Association meeting will be held in the next school year at Back to School Night on September 2nd, 2010.

Lompoc Council PTA: The last General Meeting at the Lompoc Council level was on March 17, 2010. No meetings will be held at the Council level until the 2010-2011 school year. For more information from this level, please click on the Lompoc Council PTA link to the left.
