VMS PTSA Membership: Membership is $7.00 per person and envelopes will be sent home with your student during the first week of school. Membership envelopes will also be available in the school office.

Sign up for eScrip: This is a free program, at no cost to you, where VMS will receive a percentage of your purchases from participating stores. Go to www.escrip.com to register, click "Welcome", then "Sign up". Our group ID number is 500018411.

Reflections

Contact Tina Davis for more information on the current Reflections Art Program.

The Reflections Program is an arts recognition and achievement program for students. The Reflections Program provides opportunities for students to express themselves creatively and to receive positive recognition for original works of art inspired by a pre-selected theme. Students may submit entries in any of the six arts areas: Literature, Musical Composition, Photography, Visual Arts, Dance Choreography, and Film/Video Production. Only original works of art are accepted.

Anyone interested in helping out with the VMS PTSA for the 2012-2013 school year in any capacity, please contact Tina Davis. The board can only function with the help of volunteers, dedicating their time to make events and programs happen at VMS. No matter how small, or how large you want to help, please let us know.

The programs and events that the VMS PTSA has supported during our current 2011-2012 school year so far are: Contributions to the First Day packets, Hospitality for Awards Night, Jump Start, Reflections, Ugly Mug Coffee Fall Fundraiser, Spring Pictures, Staff Appreciation, and Book Fair.

The programs and events that the VMS PTSA has supported during the 2010-2011 school year are: Contributed to the First Day packets, Jump Start, Reflections, Fall Student Awards, Ugly Mug Coffee Fall Fundraiser, Winter Student Awards, NJHS, Home Economics, Video Technology, Domino's Pizza monthly fundraiser, FBLA, Cinco de Mayo at VMS, NJAHS, Staff Appreciation Luncheon, State Testing snacks, State Testing prizes, the Foreign Language Club to the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center, Spring Book Fair, 8th Grade Dance, and 8th Grade Awards.

The VMS PTSA supported the following programs and events during the 2009-2010 school year: First day packets, Jump Start, Reflections, Fall BBQ fundraiser, sending students to PCPA, Red Ribbon Week, Fall and Spring Book Fairs, State Testing snacks, State Testing prizes, Jog-A-Thon, Staff Appreciation Luncheon, Open House BBQ, Awards Night donations, NJHS Awards, VMS Junior Golf Program, 8th grade dance, 8th grade picnic, providing you with this website, and informational emails to those participating.
