Welcome to Whispering Angels
We are a dedicated Team of Whispering Angels, a non-profit 501(c)(3)organization located in Rosamond, California. For 11 years now we have provided Thanksgiving meals to the homeless and unfortunate people here in our community and communities all around us. We also provide Holiday Gift and food baskets through out the year to children and families in need. We do show that we do care about them all. It is that time of year again that we are asking for donations for our Thanksgiving Dinner for the unfortunate families and individuals.
We are the only non-profit oranization within our area that provides this meal for the needy. This meal will be held on November 22, 2008 at our local Community Center Hummel Hall; which we rent every year. We also pay for security and the Insurance for the use of the building. Our population of the homeless and unfortunate families and Individuals that are in need grow each year. Below are the statistics of our preceeding years:
1996 - 250 People
2008 - 950 People
Today you and I can make a difference in the lives of these homeless people and families with children and individuals who would ordinarily not be able to have a holiday meal. This year we are expecting 900-1000 people to partake of a hot Thanksgiving dinner with all of the trimmings. Thank You and God Bless you all.

"Our Thanksgiving Meal" There will be live intertainment by the Chantells Band. Intermissions there will be Judy (Keeyh) and Marie Clay playing Native Flutes. This year we will have all the trimmings as every year, this includes the following: Turkey, Dressing, Mashed Potato's, Gravy, Yams, Cranberry Sauce, Vegetables, Buns, Dessert's, and for the drinks: Coffee, Tea, and Punch.
Every month after the Dinner Whispering Angels has fundraisers to collect money for to purchase food and non-food Items, for next year's Free Thanksgiving Dinner to the needy. We also get donations to make Gift baskets for the Holidays through out the year. Help us Help them.
