Mickie debuted as Trish's obsessed fan. She came to the aid of Trish who was being attacked by Victoria. Mickie's first match was her teaming up with Trish and Ashley against Victoria, Candice and Torrie. They lost the match when Victoria pinned Mickie. At 2005 Taboo Tuesday Mickie took part in a Fantacy Battle Royal for the title. She lost the match when she sacrificed her shot to help Trish. Mickie was named OBSSESSED.

DEcember 12, 2005 Mickie defeated Victoria for a match against Trish for the title at 2006 Revolution. Mickie James did a few things to Trish over the next weeks. Mickie lost the match at Revolution but was ecstatic. The following night Ashley had a match with Trish for the title. Mickie didn't want Trish to lose and ran out and attacked Ashley disqualifing Trish but ruining Ashley's title shot. The next week Mickie attacked Ashley again during the six-person tag team match resulting in a loss for her team. Over the last while before 2006 Royal Rumble Mickie continued to attack Ashley leading up for a match at 2006 Royal Rumble with Trish as guest ref.
