Welcome to the place where there is funn after 50 (and before!!!) for women of all walks of life. We believe silliness is the comedy relief of life. Our main goal is to have funn... with no agenda beyond!
This is the place to have funn, enjoy ourselves, step outside self-imposed boundaries, and share our funn-loving Z&R Red Hat'itude with others. As a Chapter our goal is to have funn! And, no, that is not a "typo," nor are you seein' double. We're having way too much fun to be just "ordinary" or "expected." And, Zinny, our Royal Mascot, has been preachin' "Funn" for five years now! Come join us, cuz' ...all we want to do is to have some funn!

Upcoming Festivities~
Lady Teresa will be hosting in July... details to come!Lady Chelle will be August's host. Before the Luncheon, come see the Big Fig! This year's 5th Annual Fig Fest will begin at 9 a.m. at the Fresno State Campus, between the Ag Science Building & Satellite Student Union, near the corner of Barstow & Maple Avenues. $5 admission and free parking. Featured local restaurant’s include; Bistro Rustico, Campagnia, Cracked Pepper Bistro, Erna's Elderberry House, Love & Garlic, Palomino’s, Slates, The Chef's Table, The Vineyard Restaurant, The Vintage Press, and Trelio Restaurant among others. We still could use one (1) Royal Bunco Diva for play on the first Thursday evening of the month. Were else can you socialize, eat dinner, have a great time, laugh, compete, and win prizes... and, all that for only 5 bucks! Mark your calendars... The Meetin' of the Broads will be "meetin' again" in June... watch for the date. We don't hold boring meetings or humdrum luncheons...
We prefer to have Extravegant Events and Afternoon Affaires!!

All chapters seem to ebb and flow as ladies exit and new members enter. Not all women are interested in all that the RHS has to offer. They see it as going to lunch once a month, and not much more. These ladies soon tire of wearing Red Hats and Purple. What is left are the ladies that enjoy playing dress up and exploring new things. The RHS is good for women, and ladies will always seek us out. Some will stay and some will go, but with each new lady we meet our lives are richer. We come to accept the fact that not everyone is as interested in the RHS as we are~ that is okay with us. We see the RHS as a party that we invite other ladies to, and it is their choice if they want to come and play. Some ladies may see the RHS as a novelty. We see ourselves as wearing our Red Hats and dressing in Purple when we are 102, still strutting our stuff, and still having fun. When you put on that Red Hat and Purple so much more is asked of you. You are asked to smile and talk to strangers because they are drawn to us. We do not just walk into a place, we make an entrance and all eyes are on us. Because we are so visible, we are watched; and yes, judged. Many ladies are not comfortable with being in the spotlight. These ladies will either come to love it or choose to leave. Sort of like a tidal wave, the secret is to ride that wave, and land standing on your feet laughing out loud. So many women do not realize just how great they are. Life is a daring adventure... Let it begin again at 40 or 140! When I am wearing our colors, I am a parade of one! I found the secret to staying young is to live honestly, eat slowly, and lie about your age. Just remember~ If the world did not suck we would all fall off!
