Lady Janice hosted a heart-filled Event this month at Logan's Roadhouse. The heart-shaped box of chocolates was a wonderful treat! Congats to CoQ Sharon, winner of this month's raffle. Our Annual CoQueens' Holiday Event was held at Takumi Japanese Steakhouse once again. This time, we had teppanyaki... lunch and a show! Our Teacup Exchange, our "many-basketed" $ Raffles, cookies and holiday treats, Santa table favors, and, oh, so much more... HRM Lady Imogene gave each of us a "blinking light" Santa hat (before rushing off to her own Chapter's Holiday Party... she "just overflows with graciousness and Red Hat'itude). CoQ Sharon and Lady Chelle filled in as host at Limon Peruvian Cuisine. After a "rocky start," the restaurant pulled through and did a great job! CoQ Sharon and Lady Chelle hosted a "Knick-Knack-in-a-Sack" party day at Logan's Roadhouse. Ball 'n jacks, playdough, bubbles, drink umbrellas and "personality" pins (i.e., Flirty, Bad Girl, Wild, etc.)kept the party-theme rolling. Z&R truly has some of the most creative women... ya' gals are just awesome! The decorated "sacks" with the "old-to-you-new-to-me" gifts were true treasures from friends! Aqua Shi Asian Infusion was the place to be... and you couldn't miss all the pink balloons! Lady Imogene invited all of us to a wonderful and informative luncheon... all we had to do was 'bring our breasts.' Special guest and speaker, Teresa, shared her courageous story and answered many of our questions on breast cancer. Ladies Beverly and Sharon B were are $ Raffle winners of a Pink Ribbon and Red Hatting wine glasses, along with a new wallet (Lady Sharon B even had $ in hers!). Empress Edie hosted our September luncheon at Table Mountain Casino's Eagle's Landing restaurant. Even though there were no big winners at the slots, we had lots of funn! (There was even a 'photo op' with Lady Chelle wearing her $Raffle winnings... a lid and tank cover... if ya' know what I mean!). Great job Edie! The table favours were cute 'dice-and-chip-covered' boxes (deco'd inside and out!) and a deck of cards (always funn to have on hand!) It's August... and, it's Fig Fest time again! Before our luncheon, eight of us met at FSU for a "figgin' good time." We had our picture taken with the big fig. We sampled wonderful fig dishes... The lamb with fig balsamic from Yosemite Ranch/Love & Garlic was fantastic! The hot Italian sausage with fig salsa from Gigi's... wow! Fig and walnut cookies, two kinds of fig ice cream, fig bread pudding, several fig brucettas, french toast, pizza... it was all good. Some of us even learned how to play a new "ball" game!

The Royal Bunco Divas were laughing, and betting, and havin' a jolly ole' time at the Condo at Huntington Lake! Friday began at Table Mountain and ended with fondue night with wine/chocolate tasting. Saturday was PJ day! We started out with a game of R-L-C (oh, wait... make that three games!) Congrats to Chris, Barbara C, and Shirley N for their wins. CoQ Sharon's famous taco bar began our Bunco play. Martini tasting and a funn viewing of 'Mama Mia' rounded out the day. Thanks to Leslie for driving up on Saturday for Bunco. We look forward to Shirley N and Angie joining us as 'Subs.' Don't miss next year's funn!

Countessa Sharon and Princess Beverly did a great job hosting this month at Casa Corona! Our gathering was a little smaller, perhaps due to our changing the date to 'make room' for Easter next week. Mardi Gras was the theme of this month's luncheon at Livingstons. Countess Chris did a great job decorating with purple, gold, and green beads! Our Sixth Annual CoQueens' Event was held at The Public House this year. Vivacious Victoria was honored as our 2008 Flamboyant Grand Dame Award Winner. She was given a sparkly bracelet reflective of the shining, giving and growing friendship she has shared with us. Of course, we held our annual tea cup exchange. The stories were touching; the tea cups, beautiful; and, the laughter was 'loud.' (The castle-like setting has castle-like acoustics.) This year we also held a cookie exchange. Everyone brought their favorite cookies and recipes. Mmmm! Most of you all did a great job... Lady Chelle had to stop by the bakery cuz' her cookies didn't look pretty.¯(There is just something about burnt-on-top-raw-in-the-middle, broken, sad-looking cookies that were not 'festive'!) CoQueen Sharon and Lady Chelle had Christmas baskets for each (with a Holiday tea towel for lining and a big red cellophane bag and ribbon to wrap it all up with). CoQ Sharon did a great job as last-minute-fill-in-host! Fuzzio's was a funn place to gather outside under the misters. It was almost like being at the zoo. Chris challenged us with a TV-Moms quiz. Nancy was our Dollar Raffle winner and chose a bottle of B*tch wine. Heidi became our 'Wild Child' and second Raffle Drawing winner of a Lolita wine glass. Victoria was honored with a R.H.S. 10th Birthday Celebration gift for attending the most Z&R luncheons! It's RED-uation Time, it's RED-uation time... Lady Belva is no longer 49! We had a great time at Shanghai celebrating birthdays for Belva and Elizabeth! Our Annual CoQueens' Holiday Event was held at Takumi Japanese Steakhouse once again. This time, we had teppanyaki... lunch and a show! Our Teacup Exchange, our "many-basketed" $ Raffles, cookies and holiday treats, Santa table favors, and, oh, so much more... HRM Lady Imogene gave each of us a "blinking light" Santa hat (before rushing off to her own Chapter's Holiday Party... she "just overflows with graciousness and Red Hat'itude). CoQ Sharon and Lady Chelle hosted a "Knick-Knack-in-a-Sack" party day at Logan's Roadhouse. Ball 'n jacks, playdough, bubbles, drink umbrellas and "personality" pins (i.e., Flirty, Bad Girl, Wild, etc.)kept the party-theme rolling. Z&R truly has some of the most creative women... ya' gals are just awesome! The decorated "sacks" with the "old-to-you-new-to-me" gifts were true treasures from friends! Aqua Shi Asian Infusion was the place to be... and you couldn't miss all the pink balloons! Lady Imogene invited all of us to a wonderful and informative luncheon... all we had to do was 'bring our breasts.' Special guest and speaker, Teresa, shared her courageous story and answered many of our questions on breast cancer. Empress Edie hosted our September luncheon at Table Mountain Casino's Eagle's Landing restaurant. Even though there were no big winners at the slots, we had lots of funn! (There was even a 'photo op' with Lady Chelle wearing her $Raffle winnings... a lid and tank cover... if ya' know what I mean!). Great job Edie! It's August... and, it's Fig Fest time again! Before our luncheon, eight of us met at FSU for a "figgin' good time." We had our picture taken with the big fig. We sampled wonderful fig dishes... The lamb with fig balsamic from Yosemite Ranch/Love & Garlic was fantastic! The hot Italian sausage with fig salsa from Gigi's... wow! Fig and walnut cookies, two kinds of fig ice cream, fig bread pudding, several fig brucettas, french toast, pizza... it was all good. Some of us even learned how to play a new "ball" game!

The Royal Bunco Divas were laughing, and betting, and havin' a jolly ole' time at the Condo at Huntington Lake! Friday began at Table Mountain and ended with fondue night with wine/chocolate tasting. Saturday was PJ day! We started out with a game of R-L-C (oh, wait... make that three games!) Congrats to Chris, Barbara C, and Shirley N for their wins. CoQ Sharon's famous taco bar began our Bunco play. Martini tasting and a funn viewing of 'Mama Mia' rounded out the day. Thanks to Leslie for driving up on Saturday for Bunco. Countessa Sharon and Princess Beverly did a great job hosting this month at Casa Corona! Our gathering was a little smaller, perhaps due to our changing the date to 'make room' for Easter next week. Mardi Gras was the theme of this month's luncheon at Livingstons. Countess Chris did a great job decorating with purple, gold, and green beads! Our Sixth Annual CoQueens' Event was held at The Public House this year. Vivacious Victoria was honored as our 2008 Flamboyant Grand Dame Award Winner. She was given a sparkly bracelet reflective of the shining, giving and growing friendship she has shared with us. Of course, we held our annual tea cup exchange. The stories were touching; the tea cups, beautiful; and, the laughter was 'loud.' (The castle-like setting has castle-like acoustics.) This year we also held a cookie exchange. Everyone brought their favorite cookies and recipes. Mmmm! Most of you all did a great job... Lady Chelle had to stop by the bakery cuz' her cookies didn't look pretty.¯(There is just something about burnt-on-top-raw-in-the-middle, broken, sad-looking cookies that were not 'festive'!) CoQueen Sharon and Lady Chelle had Christmas baskets for each (with a Holiday tea towel for lining and a big red cellophane bag and ribbon to wrap it all up with). CoQ Sharon, Countess Chris, and Ladies Belva and Chelle had a figgin' good time at Fig Fest 2008. We sampled some wonderful treats made from figs (like the fig chili and cornbread). Belva reported she heard a 'radio caller' talking about seeing a 'Big Fig' driving along the streets of Fresno!
Our luncheon was held at North India Grill... and, we got to try a whole new cuisine. We welcomed a new member, Imogene ~ WooHoo! We look forward to knowing you! (In fact, she is our next highlighted member.) Grand Diva Nancy was our highlighted member this month. It turns out we didn't know as much about her as we thought... It's RED-uation Time, it's RED-uation time... Lady Belva is no longer 49! We had a great time at Shanghai celebrating birthdays for Belva and Elizabeth!
