Feliz Navidad! We had a great time during our Holiday Fiesta at El Torito. We celebrated with "Kazoos, and Bubbles... and Red Waxed Lips, Oh my!" and a Christmas Carol "Triva" Teacup Exchange. CoQ Sharon and Lady Chelle shared their wet adventures of the RHS Desert Oasis Mini Regional... along with bringing home crowns and "fuzzy balls" to share. Ya' got to go to the Palm Spring Follies, ladies, it was funn-tastic! Congrats and a Royal Bow to Princess Beverly's imagination and creativity with her "Snornament." Congrats to Grand Diva Nancy for taking home (& lookin' so darn elegant) the purple hat from our Raffle. In attendance: Chris, Edie, Heidi, Beverly B, Victoria L, Elizabeth R, Rosie, Teresa, Colleen, Nancy T, Belva, Sharon, Chelle.
November 30 thru' December 2, 2007
The Red Hat Society Holiday Oasis Mini Regional was held in Palm Springs, and attended by CoQ Sharon and Lady Chelle (along with their Royal Hunnys).
53/ November 10, 2007
Murder and Mystery was on the agenda at Red Robin! Ladies Heidi, Teresa, Colleen, Nancy, Edie, Chelle and CoQ Sharon "transformed" into the Decadent Housewives of Hysteria Lane... Edie, as Real Estate Agent "Eve," solved our Mystery and came to "Besty" (i.e. CoQ Sharon)'s rescue; proving it was just a series of "misfortunate" events that caused poor "Elaine's" demise. Edie, Teresa and Nancy won Best Performance, Best Costume, and Honorable Mention... Congrats! In attendance: Edie, Heidi, Beverly B, Teresa, Linda M, Colleen, Nancy T, Sue, Lisa, Sharon, Chelle.
52/ October 13, 2007
Great job Teresa! We had a lot of fun at Logan's Roadhouse... again, it was an intimate group (even CoQ Sharon was M.I.A.) In attendance: Teresa, Edie, Heidi, Victoria L, Chelle
51/ September 8, 2007
We rang in some new funn ideas this month! CoQ Sharon was our host at the Phoenician Gardens, and did a great job! We were a little more intimate of a group. Due to the air-Q, we had several members "under the weather." The upcoming CoQueens' Event and Teacup Exchange was highlighted... along with Heidi, our highlighted member of the month. Thanks to all for their suggestions of funn ideas for upcoming events. New directories were handed out, along with sign-ups for next year's events. In attendance: Chris, Teresa, Victoria L, Heidi, Edie, Sharon, Chelle.
50/ August 11, 2007
We orhad a day of "Beach Party" funn; and T.G.I. Friday's was the place to be... Countess Chris did a great job! Fish nets, colorful glass fish, and a "tough" Beach Quiz decorated the table. A big Congrats to Lady Victoria on winnin' that one and taking home a sand bucket filled with summer goodies. We learned so much more about Chris, past hairstyles, pet peeves, life's firsts... and which song best describes Chris in the morning. There were some clever songs suggested! Princess Beverly took home a prize for that one ~ "It's Raining Men"! It was great to have such a "growing" gathering again. The seating was a "tad" cramped which made it difficult for the CoQueens to socialize with everyone... and the acoustics didn't help! We managed through; even had four new members join. Welcome to Colleen, Beverly B, Heidi, and Kay! In attendance: Chris, Nancy T, Lisa, Sue, Linda M, Teresa, Colleen, Elizabeth R, Victoria L, Edie and guest Brenda, Beverly B, Kay, Heidi, Sharon, Chelle.
49/ July 14, 2007
Italian meet Red-White-And-Blue as Lady Nancy and Countess Chris "jazzed up" our table at Macaroni Grill. Flags, and bows, and sparkley beads, and spinning-RW&B-lighting fans, and of course, sweet treats dazzled us all! Ruby RedHat was highlighted this month, along with her "10 Rules for Living +1." New membership cards (with Ruby attached) were handed out. Also highlighted, American trivia and a "pop" quiz! Be sure to check out Chris' "Royal" purple hat pin won from our Dollar Raffle. There's so much going on as we are going on our Fifth Year! Don't Miss Out! Oh, and send a card to Grand Diva Nancy this week, reminding her that she's in our thoughts! In attendance: Chris, Nancy T, Rosie, Victoria L, Elizabeth R, Edie, Sharon, Chelle.
48/ June 9, 2007
California Pizza Kitchen was rockin' with laughter and "little-known" stuff. There were anagrams of our names... and who would have known that "Rebel tourism" fitted so close to the "rebel" in Rosie! CoQ Sharon "adorn horns," and Lady Chelle ended up as "chief gull sneezes." Oh well, there goes the pretense of sophistication! Welcome back, Edie! (Who was also the winner of our Dollar Raffle... with a new hummingbird windchime to decorate her home.) Tiddly Winks went flying as we played some "kitchy" games from bygone party days. What a fun time! In attendance: Chris, Elizabeth R, Victoria L, Rosie, Edie, Lisa, Sue, Teresa, Sharon, Chelle.
47/ May 12, 2007
Mimi's was the place to be... "hats off" to Lady Lisa GoofyChick! (More details to come)... In attendance: Sue, Lisa, Theresa, Judy and guest Barbara G, Chris, Elizabeth R, Victoria L and guest Heidi, Sharon, Chelle.
46/ April 14, 2007
Ladies Rosie, Victoria, and Elizabeth did a great job hosting at Chevy's... one of our "best" events! We started a "recognition" of members. We learned 20 "lil' known stuff" about CoQ Sharon, as our first honoree. We will be starting "Chapter pins"... beginning with CoQ Sharon's beads. Ya' don't want to miss out on "the new happenin's" of Zin & Rose'! Make sure not to miss next month... In attendance: Rosie, Victoria L, Elizabeth R, Sue, Lisa, Linda M, Teresa, Chris, Sharon, Chelle.
45/ March 10, 2007
Lady Chelle was host at Edo-Ya Tokoyo Cuisine... and, an ugly earring contest! Congrats Chris, your earrings were judged "the ugliest." Lady Judy took home a hat box from our raffle. In honor of "Celebrate Your Name" week, we had a good time trying to match middle name to the correct "owner." Everyone received a 2007 "Celebrate R.H.S. Day" pin. In attendance: Chris, Nancy T, Lisa, Sue, Linda M, Teresa, Judy and daughter Barbara G, special "Bunco" guests Colleen and Barb, Sharon, Chelle.
44/ February 10, 2007
Held at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse... great job Lady Lisa GoofyChick! Next month our Dollar Raffle will "reappear." It was good to know that it has been missed! A Valentines Trivia quiz was handed out... Boy, we sure learned a lot! A Royal WhooHoo for your research efforts Lisa! In attendance: Chris, Sue, Lisa, Teresa, Rosie, Victoria L, Elizabeth R, Sharon, Chelle.
43/ January 13, 2007
This was our 4th starting of a new year together! It was held at the Victorian Rose Tea Cottage, hosted by Lady Chelle. Tho' the weather was dreary outside, inside our table blossomed with beautiful teacups... and, the cute flower tealight holders. An "in your seat" scavenger hunt was held. It was amazing the number of Wal-Mart receipt some of ya' carry! Sign-ups for our 2007 events were held. This year we are doing away with the word "Invitations," since one is always invited and we always get together on the same day... you can always find out where to meet when R.S.V.P.ing! In attendance: Nancy T, Rosie, Elizabeth R, Victoria L, Chris, Teresa, Lisa, Sue, Sharon, Chelle.
42/ December 9, 2006
Our last event for 2006, the annual CoQueens' Holiday Luncheon and Teacup Exchange, held at Red Lobster. "Reindeer Games" was our theme. Lady Lisa won the certificate to the R.H.S. store for entering her reindeer ornament into the raffle. Lady Susan won a R.H.S. Purple Perks card for most votes in the "clay" reindeer contest. Wow! Lady Chelle put out a difficult challenge; and, again... Wow! The teacups were beautiful; the gold and silver tree table favors were glittery; we had a heckafa' good time. Chris, Elizabeth, Victoria, Rosie, Susan... CoQ Sharon, all of your creativity was impressive! In attendance: Nancy T, Rosie, Elizabeth R, Victoria L, Chris, Susan, Teresa, Linda M, Lisa, Sue, Sharon, Chelle.
41/ November 11, 2006
Lady Lisa GoofyChick and Lady Sue d'Boop gave their usual best at Marie Callenders. The table was decorated with Thanksgiving napkins and mini loaf pans filled with chocolates! Great job at Sweet Tomatoes, Lady Susan! It was a tough month, and ya' pulled it off with your usual charm. We had a small group... even CoQ Sharon was M.I.A. (spending the weekend at R&Gs condo). The Mary Engelbreit note cards are always a treat, and the chocolate truffle was a favorite of Lady Chelle! Congrats to Lady Susan taking home the pilgrim dolls from the Dollar Raffle. Reindeer ornament kits were handed out to bring back for a raffle in December. In attendance: Judy and daughter Barbara G, Sue, Lisa, Teresa, Susan, Chelle.

In attendance: Janet and special guest - her mom, Elizabeth H, Sue, Lisa, Judy and daughter Barbara G, Teresa, Susan, Sharon, Chelle.
38/ August 12, 2006
Countess Chris was our host at Tony Romas. Our table was all-decked-out with purple... a shell dish and treats, including a purple tin with red-hat mints for each! We challenged our thinking caps with word/picture fun (i.e. m_ce, m_ce, m_ce equals three blind mice cuz' they have no i's/eyes!) What funn! Prizes All Around! In attendance: Elizabeth R, Victoria L, Chris, Judy and daugter Barbara G, Lisa, Sue, Linda M, Teresa, Brenda, Sharon, Chelle.

Great job a grand royal salute to Ladies Victoria L and Elizabeth R, our hosts at Red Lobster! Many of our members where attending other festivities (Victoria H's B-day or Lisa's shower). Hahaha... we still had a grr-reat time! Lady Chelle was feeling spring-y, awarding flower candles to winners of Red Hat trivia (cuz' RHS Day is April 25). Table favors given Mary Engelbreit note cards! Pins celebrating RHS 2006, new nametags and directories (congrats to Chris... and, to everyone else: be sure to correct CoQueen Sharon's cell to 260) were handed out. Strings of blue beads and silver beads were passed around for everyone to cut ~ it was a spin off of the toilet tissue game played by so many RHS Chapters. Those that bring back their "A thru ??" list will get a chance to share. In attendance: Christine, Susan, Chris, Elizabeth R, Victoria L, Sharon, Chelle.
33/ March 11, 2006

31/ January 14, 2006
Lady Lisa GoofyChick's fun hat'itude had all of us "bubbling" at our first event of 2006! The food at the Cheesecake Factory was as good as the parking was "evil." Princess Dorothy was able to transform her "it-just-doesn't-suit-me" hat into a 40s-style-knock-out with a little veiling and whimsy! Lady Nikki added a touch of glitz and femininity to her western-style hat. And, next September be on the lookout for CoQueen Sharon's stunning purple and gold hat! A special Royal Thank-you to CoQueen Sharon's "cotton-pickin" Hunny, who stopped picking cotton long enough to surprise us with some wonderful cinnamon rolls Thanks Dad!

Hats Off! to Grand Duchess Mary for another great afternoon. What a funn choice Bedrosians Armenian Deli was for our September Event. CoQueen Sharon was dressed au Contraire for her birthday month, and Johnnie B led many a-rousing-song of birthday cheer in her honor. Lady Chelle was not sure what was more painful... wearing the wrong shoes or laughing so hard! Anyway, CoQueen Sharon and Lady Chelle relived that old adage... they truly shopped until they dropped. But, what a way to go! Oh, and by the way... Congrats to CoQueen Sharon! Gottschalks called her several days later she won a beautiful leather purse!

Our largest Chapter event yet~ held at Red Lobster. Lobster necklaces and delightful keyfobs, each with a different saying, were shared. CoQueen Sharon is such an optimistic person and, with no foresight in the placing of the keyfobs shared, "I am such an 'up' person! I'm fed up, mixed up, and messed up!" Lady Chelle, when asked to verify the possible truth behind the statement, politely declined comment. A request was made to move our events to the second Saturday. Congrats to Lady Nancy for taking home the "coveted" teapot water fountain. In attendance: Dorothy S, Opal, Nikki, Dorothy H and guest Susan, Shirley and guest Vennetta, Mary S, Marty, Christine, Nancy N, Elizabeth H, Sharon, Chelle.
