Greetings to the Calhan Community!

How good it feels to be a part of the wonderful community of Calhan. People have been so nice already!

The start of the school year will be a busy one. The administrative team and I have planned some training sessions that will help everyone define good management and instruction. This will help us grow and become stronger, while reaffirming what we already do that is good.

Through the process of collaboration, we are setting a course of excellence for Calhan. The goals that will be established belong to everyone and we will achieve them together. This will be the year we begin to align our defintions of education, our job descriptions, our curriculum our structure and our budget to reflect the goals of our Strategic Plan.

Next year we will align our evaluations and expectations. This sounds like a huge task, but in reality, we are doing many things well already. We need to unite the staf, students and community towared this common effort.
