Monthly Meetings ~
Our meetings are held once a month and range in topics from dealing with parenting issues to upcoming club events or other club business. We often invite guest speakers to our meetings to cover a wide range of topics such as whether or not separate your multiples in school to getting your home and life organized for the new year. We invite all Double Delights members to attend the meetings. We also encourage perspective members to attend a meeting to get a sense of what our club is about!
Double Delights meets the 3rd Monday of the month at Grace United Methodist Church, at 4905 E. Yale Ave in Denver.
Support ~
Double Delights offers great support to our members. Parenting support is offered to help parents of multiples handle the many joys and challenges of raising multiples. Additional support is offered to New MOMs and to those MOMs who may be breastfeeding their multiples.
Resources ~
Members have access to a great library of books and information regarding parenting issues with multiples. These books can be checked out by contacting the President.
Members are also granted access to the many freebies and other offers available to parents of multiples. There are also many offers available through NOMOTC, the national organization, on their website.
Sale ~
Double Delights members are granted early access to all clothing and equipment sales sponsored by Double Delights. The sales offer members the opportunity to support the club by sharing a portion of the income generated by the sale. Members can also help each other out by giving other members the opportunity to purchase gently used items for greatly reduced prices. Members who choose to sell in the sale will have the opportunity to bring in extra income through the sale of their items.
Playgroups ~
There are many opportunities to attend playgroups throughout the year, including an Under 2 Playgroup held every Thursday morning from 11am-1pm. Some of the playgroups offered are trips to the Zoo, tours of Hammond's Candy Factory and outings to the park. Many friendships have been made on the playgrounds...parents and kids alike!
Mom's Nights Out ~ In place of a monthly meeting, our club has several Mom's Nights Out throughout the year. Nights out can include dinner out at a restaurant, a pampering night at a local spa for reduced prices on services and other fun outings. This is a great time to connect with other members and build strong, lasting friendships!
Family Events ~
Double Delights holds many family friendly events throughout the year including a Halloween Party, Christmas/Holiday Party, Easter Picnic with egg hunt, and the Annual Family Picnic. The family events are a wonderful time to get together as a group and enjoy fun activities, as well as provide a great opportunity for family time!
Members Only Website ~
Members have access to a private site, run by BigTent.com where they can interact with other members, participate in online forums and classifieds where they can buy/sell/trade items they have and post journals on a custom profile page. This is a great opportunity for members to really connect with one another in a way not possible before! We are very excited to offer this new feature to our members.
