We're Looking for You!

ARE YOU...?

Between the age of 18 and 40?

A registered Republican voter?

A resident of Jefferson County, Colorado? Or nearby?

Then we're looking for you! The Front Range and Jefferson County Young Republicans are working to promote our ideals and elect Republican candidates for Jefferson County and the state of Colorado. We meet once a month to discuss the ideas and issues that are important to us. We volunteer for campaigns and other political causes that align with our principles. And we find ways to have fun, too!

Whatever you have to offer in skills, experience, and/or enthusiasm, we would love to have you join our team! We'll also provide opportunities to hone your skills, enhance your experience, and build your enthusiasm. WE BELIEVE...

That young Americans are the future of this nation and the right of individuals to achieve the best that is within themselves is the source of our Nation’s strength.

That government exists to protect the freedom of opportunity for all individuals.

That government should be limited to necessities. Taxes should be at the minimum necessary for the government to provide only the most basic of services.

That the most effective government is one that is closest to the people.

That the United States Constitution protects the equal rights, equal justice, and equal opportunity to all legal US citizens regardless of race, creed, age, sex, or national origin.

That government has the responsibility to protect our borders. Young Americans lose security and economic opportunity when government allows illegal aliens to live and work among us.

That government is responsible for protecting its citizens by providing for a strong national defense. Only a strong America can remain a free America. Maintaining a strong national defense enables our nation to negotiate from a position of strength, not weakness, allowing peace to prosper and keeping young Americans out of wars.

That government is responsible for maintaining a free market economy. Individual rights, liberties and properties are continually eroded when citizens are oppressed by excessive taxation, inflation, governmental waste and over-regulation. Excessive governmental taxation, waste and regulation prevent young Americans from achieving the American dream.

That Social Security is a poorly run governmental program that restricts the liberty of America’s youth. Young Americans should have the ability to choose their own retirement plans.

That an education system that attempts to indoctrinate our youth with one-sided debate and political correctness produces narrow minded individuals and discourages the freedom of thought.

That the Republican Party is committed to these principles, and is the party for the future, dedicated to protecting the freedoms and liberties of America’s youth.
