 Front Range and Jefferson County Young Republicans
Regular Business Meeting
September 9th, 2004
A Regular Business Meeting of the Front Range and Jefferson County Young Republicans was called to order at 7:10 pm at La Dolce Vita, Arvada. President Ben DeGrow presided.
Minutes from the previous meeting in August were read and approved with a motion by Tom Banks.
Treasurer Dave Villano reported $677.24. Social/Membership Director Marya DeGrow reported in the August 27th Volleyball Picnic at Addenbrooke Park. Ben reported on the upcoming Festivals. Tom spoke of the 96-Hour Victory Team opportunities. Jessica Corry updated the group about her campaign, as did Bob Briggs.
No old business was discussed.
No new business was brought forth.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:27 by a motion from Tom and a second.
Mark Paschall, Jefferson County Treasurer was our presenter.

Regular Business Meeting
August 12, 2004
A Regular Business Meeting of the Front Range and Jefferson County Young Republicans was called to order at 7:30 pm at Mannie and Bo’s Pizzeria in Golden. Vice President Tom Banks presided.
Minutes from the previous meeting in July were read and approved.
Reports were tabled until the next meeting.
Old business: none.
New business: New name tags for the newly elected YR executives were approved at a cost of $6.00 a piece. ($18.00 total)
Upcoming Parades and Festivals were discussed, and sign up sheets were passed around.
Wheat Ridge Carnation Festival
Lakewood on Parade
Arvada Harvest Festival
Summerset Festival

Social Event at Addenbrook Park for the YR’s on August 27
Candidate Forum at Lookout Mountain on September 27
DDRC Open House on September 28 at the Fairgrounds
The floor was opened for speakers. Nathan, representing Y-Vote, spoke about the new voters project.
To conclude, Tom requested that everyone think about changing locations again for the club, and suggested that we meet twice a month until election day in order to fit in all of the speakers that want to come speak with us. A motion was carried and passed for two meeting a month.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:33 pm.
Front Range and Jefferson County Young Republicans
Special Meeting
August 27, 2004
A Special Meeting of the Front Range and Jefferson County Young Republicans was called to order at 7:30 pm at Addenbrook Park in Lakewood per the FRJCYR Constitution. President Ben DeGrow presided.
The purpose of this short meeting was to vote on a new location for our meetings. The voting members present voted to change our meeting locations to LA DOLCE VITA Coffeehouse; located at 5756 Olde Wadsworth Blvd. (1/2 block south of 58th, on the east side) in Arvada.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:38 pm.
