Note about Fitness and Training
Make sure to check with your family doctor before starting a physical fitness program. The materials provided here are designed for players of all ages, but it is essential that you modify the time and number of intervals based on your age/fitness level. Some of the activities are designed to increase your fitness, while other activities are designed to be performed when your fitness is already at a high level.
The most essential thing is to know your own body. For example, if you find that running a few miles everyday is leading to minor injuries, or minor pains in your feet, ankles, or knees, etc., (not just that you are tired) you might need to do some cross-training - swimming, biking, etc. |
