 Mustang Baseball Association
 SPONSORSHIP/ADVERTISING OPPORTUNITIES
Mustang Baseball Association offers advertising banners that are displayed at the baseball fields at RVHS. Companies that purchase these banners donate funds to help with the many costs involved with running our baseball program. This year, your Mustang Baseball Association is offering a fundraising program that will benefit both the Baseball Program and the individual players. If a player secures an Advertising Sponsor for the Mustang Baseball Association, the player will receive 10% of the Sponsor’s donation. The following information explains the program.
Banner Selling Procedures:
Each family participating in this program will receive a master set of documents to use when meeting with a potential sponsor. If more than one set is needed, you can make copies or download copies from the link below. Included in the documents are:
- Introductory Letter: This letter serves as an introduction to your potential sponsor and explains the pricing of the banners.
- Sponsorship Agreement: This form should be completed by the company or individual who will be purchasing the advertising banner. Be sure your name is included so that you receive 10% of the total sponsorship amount.
- Ralston Valley High School Baseball Sponsorship Agreement: This form is required by Jefferson County Public Schools to ensure legality and appropriateness of the sponsorship. “Sponsor”, “Date”, “Address” and “Phone Number” should be completed by the sponsor. Leave the remaining lines blank – they will be completed by RVHS staff.
The banners are displayed throughout the Spring, Summer and Fall Season on the outfield fence. Sponsors are listed on the MBA website and announced at every home game. Sponsors may also leave flyers or business cards in the Concessions building. Sponsors submit the artwork they would like to have printed on their banner to Lynns Stalker (see below).
It is the responsibility of the player to collect full payment and the completed forms. They must be submitted before the player receives the 10% benefit.

KING SOOPERS GIFT CARD INFORMATION
Chris Yokley coordinates the King Soopers Gift Card Fundraiser.
Here are the basic instructions to start participating:
How does the gift card program work?
- You purchase as many reloadable cards as you want (for example: one for you, one for your son to use for gas, grandma wants one, and the neighbor said she’d buy one too . . . so you buy 4 reloadable cards from the baseball program to get started). I will hold a couple extra cards for purchase throughout the month.
- Each reloadable card will initially be loaded with $5 and costs $5 (you have nothing to lose). I will record the bar code on each of the cards you purchase to your son’s Mustang baseball account, so that when your cards are reloaded at the store, the database will keep track of the purchases by the bar code and I will ultimately receive this information on a monthly report and record your proceeds accordingly.
- Load your card at the King Soopers service desk or a register before you shop with whatever denomination you wish (up to $500), do your shopping, and use your card at checkout. Reload your card again as many times as you wish.
- Your son’s account will be credited with 5% of your total reloadable amounts (for example: $500 worth of reloads were made on Ben’s cards in December, so he receives $25 in his Baseball Account. The funds can be used for summer fees, clothing purchases, equipment purchases, etc. When you need to use the funds in your son's account, simply contact me.
- 100% of the money you make in this fundraiser is kept in individual player accounts, and is not used by the team for any general purchases. So only your son benefits from your participation. We are offering this fundraiser with the sole purpose of trying to provide a way to offset some of the expenses associated with baseball.
- That’s it! Super easy, so encourage everyone you know to purchase a $5 card and get started buying their groceries and gas this way, knowing that they are essentially asking King Soopers to give your son $5 for every $100 worth of groceries and/or gas. Everyone wins.
A couple important reminders:
- You MUST get original reloadable gift cards from me or they cannot be linked to your son in the RV baseball program (and thus your funds cannot be recorded properly). So even if you are buying cards for gifts or donations, you have to buy them through the Mustang baseball program/account. The reloadable cards will come with a fundraiser sticker to remind you that it is a reloadable card and should not be thrown away.
- You can reload your card for up to $500 each time, and you can do this at the register or at the customer service desk. But you have to re-load it before your groceries are scanned so check your balance before you check out.
- Cards can be used for almost everything at King Soopers, including gas at KS fuel stations. Some items are excluded (stamps, other gift card purchases, money orders, lottery tickets).
- You can find out the balance of your gift card several ways: 1) at the bottom of your cash register receipt, 2) at www.gcbalance.com, 3) call 866-822-6252, or 4) ask the cashier to check your balance at the store.
- IMPORTANT: Reloadable cards that have a 0 balance for 90 days will become inactive. You’ll need to purchase a new card from me if this happens.
Participating in this fundraiser is an excellent way to off-set some of your son’s baseball expenses. Once your initial order is placed and picked up, you should really only have to purchase new cards as you sign on new participants for your son’s behalf. I will keep a few $5 cards for purchase throughout the month.
