June 7, 8 & 9, 2011 Jeffco Coach of the Year Shane Freehling coached RV's Nathaniel Wiemers (2nd Team All-Conference) and Ben Yokley (1st Team All-Conference & League MVP) along with players from Pomona & Columbine. Yokley was dominant on the mound for 4 innings, facing 14 batters from Rocky Mountain, Mountain Range, Horizon, Boulder, Legacy & Greeley West. He retired 7 in a row, striking out 8, allowing only 2 hits, no runs scored. What a great way to cap off their Senior season! Two weeks ago, Ralston Valley junior Lucas McKinney helped rally the Mustangs to a victory in the midst of a spring break trip to Arizona, hitting a grand slam in the seventh inning to propel his team to a victory over Juan Diego Catholic (Utah)....
