Matt.jpgWelcome to my site...                   Unfortunatly our band is currently on hiatus, seeing as we've lost two guitarists, and I'm in Montana for the next year or so. If you are one of our fans who has stuck with us since the beginning, I encourage you to wait just a little longer. We'll be playing a show at the Black Sheep next near in Febuary and I promise that we will rock as hard as we always do. Until then feel free to sing along to the lyrics, if you've ever been to any of our shows you should know how it goes. Otherwise I'll be posting a few of our songs up on youtube soon, so please be patient. ^_^

Band Facts. These are my lyrics, and those pictures are of me and my little brother and sister. I will be posting pictures of the band soon. All of these are my lyrics and they are all copyright protected, so please don't go trying to steal them. I am currently unable to perform any shows due to the fact that I'm far away from the rest of the band at the moment. But listed below are some fun facts about the history of the band, and what the songs are all about.

Band Facts.
The song Sister(I'm Comin Home) was written for, guess who, my little sister! My father and mother don't live together, hence the lyric, "I'm sorry momma I tried" and "Sister I'm comin home." My sister lives with my father and I felt like I had abandoned her, so I wrote her this song to let her know how much I cared for her, and that her brother will always be there for her when she needs me.

My Wasteland was written when I was deeply depressed and was caught in a blizzard. Unable to go anywhere I began thinking about how long I'd been stuck in Colorado Springs, and why.

I wrote Wash Away the day that I decided once and for all that I was going to kick my addiction to Meth. I had ruined my life, lost everything I owned except the clothes on my back. All of my friends had abandoned me, because I had fucked them all over too many times to be forgiven, and I wasn't getting any better. It was a gloomy and rainy day, and I was walking around spun, after I had just ruined my oldest friendship, and I began to write this song, singing it over and over again until I finished it. Since that day I haven't ever smoked Meth again. Not even once.

I wrote Zombie Take Over while I was listening to my bassist and drummer playing around one day. We were smoking down and waiting for our guitarists to show up, and they started to play. I was staring into a poster of Iron Maiden, cover in zombies of course, and I started to sing about it. For some reason I mixed the sound of Jack White with an amazing hill-billy sound and it just stuck.

Fallen Angel is a song from one fallen angel to another. The plot of the story is that the female doesn't know what she is, and the male is trying to show her. It is also a kind of love ballad from him to her.

 Band Facts.
Beg was written for my ex-fiance` awho broke my heart after everything that I had done for her. I was extremely upset and drunk, hence the song Beg was born.

Apocalytika is another drunken angry song. I wrote this while I was walking home one night and I was thinking about what it would be like if the world was ending. The song is written from the point of view of an Angel of Death as he reaps the lives of all who would oppose him.

27 is about the church, and how so many of them do everything that they can to rob you of your money, and to scare you into going to church, instead of encouraging you to go because you really want to.

I wrote Another girl shortly before breaking up with a girl whom I thought I could love. I revealed myself to her and she did everything she could to hold onto me, while making sure to make it very clear that I wasn't the one she wanted. Me and the guys got together for practice one night, and they could see I wasn't feeling in high spirits. They started playing all together, a slow, deep, heavy beat. The guitar rang so clearly in my ears that it touched my soul, and the words just came out. This is the first song that I have ever written in free flow, without making any revisions.

Farewell(Judy Jane) is a song that I wrote for my late friend J.J. When I moved away to Texas to live with my father again, and try to get my life straightened out, she was having a very difficult time back home. She was someone who was always there for me no matter what I had done, and I felt responible for her death almost, because I wasn't there for her when she needed me. She commited suicide, and when I found out I rushed to get back to Colorado Springs, so I could pay my respects. I needed to see her for myself. This was only a year ago, and I hope that one day I can play this song to a chourus of fans, singing along, so that maybe she can hear it from whereever she is.
