Santa_Baby.jpg2017 RAFFLE QUILT
This is Buggy Barn's Santa Baby design.
This quilt was made by S&B Quilters and quilted by Judy Clay. Picture of our quilt will come.
Thank You to Cynda Clay & Margie Hollembeak & all who helped with this quilt.

Each year our Guild selects a quilt design for the next year's raffle quilt. Guild members complete blocks for the quilt. Tickets are $1.00 each. The winner will be drawn at our December meeting that is the first Saturday which is our Christmas Party. Monies raised from the raffle ticket sales benefit our Guild's continuing Quilting education program for our Guild members.

These two groups have merged. They are meeting the second Monday of the month at 10 a.m. at the North Fork Baptist Church in Paonia. All are welcome. Co-Chairs are Wanda Gofforth, Nancy Phillips, and Connie Barry.

Caring Quilts are shared with various community organizations, individuals in need, & county services.
This is our small way of giving back to those in need in our local community.

Veterans' Quilts
This is our way of honoring and saying thank you to these Veterans for their valor and courage to defend our country. Veterans' Quilts will continue to be shared with various Veterans organizations & Veterans in our community.

***Visit the Veterans Quilts Project Page for more information & pictures from previous years.***

Quilts are made throughout the year from fabric and supplies that are donated by the members and the community.
If you would like to donate to either one of these fulfilling outreaches or would like more information, please contact S&B Quilters' Guild by email - sbquilters1989@gmail.com or by snail mail - P.O. Box 803 Hotchkiss, CO 81419.
Thank You to all who volunteer to help & for your generous donations to all of our Guild's Community Projects.

S&B Guild 2017 Challenges & Contests

2017 Guild Challenge
2017 Chairman is Sue Sidebottom.
2017 challenge to be announced in January.

UFO Project
Connie Hodges is the 2017 Chairman.
UFO is defined as a project that has been started - with at least some fabric cut. Each January, everyone that wishes to participate fills out their UFO list including the date the project was originally started & a brief description. One copy is given to the UFO committee chairman & one is kept by the participate. During the year members bring their completed UFOs for Sew & Share. These will then be crossed off their list.
Prizes will be given at the December meeting for those completing the most items on their list.

2017 Ugly Fabric Challenge
Co-Chairs are Cheryl King & Alincia Waite.

Bring your 1 yard of fabric to the January 14th, 2017 meeting. If you are unable to attend, please send with a friend.

This is VOLUNTARY. The Chairman numbers all bags received & each participant is given a bag. This requires one yard of fabric. The completed project is returned in the numbered bag at the June Guild meeting. These creations are unveiled and returned to the original owner. You can create or add anything. The ONLY RULE - you must use the Ugly Fabric on the FRONT of what you create or it MUST be visible.
Here are some pictures of the 2016 Challenge.
