Raf2016.JPG.jpg2016 RAFFLE QUILT
This is Judy Niemeyer design, Glacier Star.
This quilt was made by S&B Quilters and quilted by Gale Smith. Quilt size is a queen.
Thank You to Bonnie Noland & all the Guild members who helped make this beautiful quilt.

Each year our Guild selects a quilt design for the next year's raffle quilt. Guild members complete blocks for the quilt. Tickets are $1.00 each. The winner will be drawn at our December meeting that is the first Saturday which is our Christmas Party. Monies raised from the raffle ticket sales benefit our Guild's continuing Quilting education program for our Guild members.

***Congratulations to the 2015 Raffle Quilt winner - Trudy Wason, one of our very own S&B Quilters' Guild member.***

S&B Guild 2016 Challenges & Contests

2016 Guild Challenge
2016 Chairman is Sue Sidebottom.
This year’s challenge is to make anything of your choosing that depicts a song title or lyrics. Members should be able to guess the song. Completed project to be shown in July 2016 at the annual picnic.

UFO Project
Connie Hodges is the 2016 Chairman.
UFO is defined as a project that has been started - with at least some fabric cut. Each January, everyone that wishes to participate fills out their UFO list including the date the project was originally started & a brief description. One copy is given to the UFO committee chairman & one is kept by the participate. During the year members bring their completed UFOs for Sew & Share. These will then be crossed off their list.
Prizes will be given at the December meeting for those completing the most items on their list.

2016 Ugly Fabric Challenge
Co-Chairs are Cheryl King & Alincia Waite.

Bring your 1 yard of fabric to the January 9th, 2016 meeting. If you are unable to attend, please send with a friend.

This is VOLUNTARY. The Chairman numbers all bags received & each participant is given a bag. This requires one yard of fabric. The completed project is returned in the numbered bag at the June Guild meeting. These creations are unveiled and returned to the original owner. You can create or add anything. The ONLY RULE - you must use the Ugly Fabric on the FRONT of what you create or it MUST be visible. View the June 13th Guild meeting YouTube to see pictures of the 2015 Ugly Fabric Exchange.
