PRAYERS Prayers that God and the Holy Spirit will guide this congregation and Pastor Tim as we work together to spread God's wonderful news. Pastor Tim has accepted the call to become our full-time pastor beginning in Sept. He asks that we continue to pray. Special prayers for the Drew family as Don passed away. Keep Deb, Darcy and Dustin in your prayers. Prayers also for the Gil Rubeck family. (Mitzi, Kevin and Lisa and family.) Gil passed away on Saturday and services are scheduled for 10 AM on Thursday at First United Methodist Church. Prayers for Jan Huntoon, Ron Burch, and Pastor John Sitler. Please continue to pray for Pastor Mel and Ardie. We miss them dearly.  If you have just a moment, give them a call or send a card. Be with all of our servicemen and women as they continue to serve for our country.    Please pray for  all those who might be hurting in some way.  If you know of someone that is hurting in any way, please let Andrea Fowler, Phyllis Kaufman or Carolyn Gardner know, so that that person can be prayed for.

We wish to congratulate all who graudated from high school and college.

Congratulations go to Katie Fowler, Ann Fallin, Eli Littau, Kyle Bartling, Craig Neilson and Ryan Green who are graduating from high school.

Congratulations goes to Ashlee Brauer who graduated from Pueblo Community College with an AA degree in dental hygiene.

Congratulations goes to Amanda Rowles who completed her music degree from Luther College.

Congratulations to to Brandon Teetor, Kelly Fowler, Bryce Johnson and Rhemington Sokol who graduated from 8th grade and are heading into high school.

NOISY OFFERING....
Noisy Offering continues.... We are saving money to replace the floors in the kitchen and bathrooms. UPDATE....the floors have been purchased. Blair Bartling has kindly volunteered to help with installaton. If you would like to help Blair, please let him know.

Another project will be started shortly.

St. Paul CHOIR

We now have a choir. Our director is Amanda Rowles. Come and listen. "There is always room for more voices." as Amanda says.

Our preschool is thriving, they are asking for jars. If you might have any, please just bring them to church.

Preschool is also selling additional items besides the cake pans. Check out the list in the narthix.

If you have a little one, call the church office for registration for the upcoming year.

Work is still continuing to happen at St. Paul. Please just mail in your offering if you will be gone, remember to just send in your offering. Thanks.

Worship is a time to grow and reflect. We miss you when you are not with us. Come and worship with the family.

If you might be absent on a Sunday, please continue to submit your offerings. God's work is never complete.

The Joy of Giving

MAKING A ST. PAUL FAMILY MEMORY BOOK..

We would like for each family to design or submit pictures of their family. These pictures will then be put in a ST. Paul Memory Book.

We also want pictures of former family members as all are a part of St. Paul.

If you do not have time, just bring your pictures into church, and the committee will design a page for your family. What would you love to share with your family here at St. Paul?

We want everyone's pictures. Contact Cindy Kanuch or Cindy Henry for questions.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

St. Paul Lutheran Church is beginning a Prayer Shawl Ministry

Today we are calling for women and men that like to knit or crochet to become part of a "Prayer Shawl Ministry." This is where women and men get together to knit and crochet comfort, prayer, and healing shawls.

Here is how we will begin this Ministry.

1. Are you willing to knit or crochet Praryer Shawls, Hats with Hugs, (for hair-loss patients) preemies hats and lap robes?

2. Are you someone that does not crochet or knit but one who would deliver the shawls once they are completed?

3. Could you be a coordinator responsible for giving the name of someone in need to the knitter or crocheter and when the shawl is completed, collecting and delivering the shawl?

4. Are you willing to make a greeting card or letter from the congregation that has the prayer for the person receiving the shawl?

5. Contact the church office. Leave your name and number. WE will get you started.

I pray that the Lord will anoint, bless, guide, and lead us in this ministry of prayer and care for those in great need.
