     Fellowship Hall Update –

Wal-Mart - We received our fourth table donation from Wal-Mart.  We continue to submit applications for their Community Grant.

Grants - We are still waiting to hear about the matching grant through Mission Investment Funds.  We hope to hear something by the end of the year.  We are in the process of applying for grants at several local banks.  We also subscribed to a service that sends a listing of a multitude of grants.  We could use some assistance in reading and sifting through these lists to see which grants we can qualify for.  Once that determination has been made, we will proceed with the application process.   We can split up the lists so that those you would like to assist only have to look through a few pages at a time.  Thank you in advance to those of you who wish to help us get to our goals even faster.

McDonalds - Please let Calvin or Patty know who is interested in helping with a some more McDonald’s fundraisers.  For a three hour period (4:30-7:30 pm) with the assistance of 5-6 volunteers from our community we will receive 20% of the entire proceeds from that time period.   The minimum age requirement to volunteer behind the counter is 16.  Age 16 and under can volunteer to help in the dining area.  We have to choose a Monday-Thursday evening.  At the last McDonalds event we made just under $300.00.  (Pretty good for three hours of work.)

Sherwin Williams Paint & Supply – on-going.

We continue to be especially grateful for those personal cash donations that are coming in.  We cannot express our gratitude enough – wishing God’s many blessings for each and every one of you.
