The Bristol Ukulele Club was formed in January, 2010. It is open to all who play the ukulele, at any level, or would like to learn to play. The lessons are free. Whether you are a seasoned musician or have never played an instrument, you can learn to play the ukulele. There will be a few extra ukes on hand for those who just want to try it out to see if it is something they want to pursue.

We meet every Thursday evening from 7:00-8:30 PM, unless notified otherwise. We meet at:

      Ingraham Manor Senior Care
      400 North Main St.
      Bristol, Ct. 06010
Here is a website for Ingraham manor which contains a map and directions:

There is a log book at the receptionist's desk where you must input your name, the time you entered the building and where you are going in the building. The receptionist's desk is located just to the right after you enter the building. In the space of the log book that requires you to indicate where, in the building, you will be going, enter, “Ukulele Club." When leaving the building for the evening you must sign out by indicating the time you left.

The club has been meeting in the dining room which is located straight ahead from the receptionist's desk and on the left, across from the elevator lobby If we should not be in the dining room you will find us in the basement in the Employee Development room. To get to the Employee Development room, take an elevator to the basement level. Turn left after exiting the elevator and go straight ahead to the Employee Development Room, about 25 feet straight ahead.

If you can interest anyone else in learning to play the ukulele, bring them along. They will gain an enjoyable skill they can use the rest of their lives. See you at a Thursday night meeting.
