Canton Fire and EMS Cadets

Canton Fire/EMS Cadets

The Canton Fire/EMS Cadets are the young adults, ages 15-17, who protect the Town of Canton, CT. The Fire Cadets assist in all fire operations. This includes all motor vehicle accidents with extrication and EMS cadets will deal with patient care. Fire Cadets will assist with all fire operations and ride on fire apparatus to all fire calls. EMS Cadets will ride on the Canton Memorial Ambulance to all medical emergencies in and around the Town of Canton. The EMS Cadets are trained and certified in First Aid, while all cadets are certified in CPR for the Profesional Rescuer & AED. Others are then certified as EMT-Basics (EMT-B).
