CT Ride for the Cure Celebrates 10th Anniversary On October 3, the 10th annual Ride for the Cure will be held at Tyrone Farm in Pomfret, CT. The Ride is one of Connecticut’s premiere equestrian events and has raised over $700,000 to support the work of the CT Susan Komen for the Cure Foundation and their work towards a world without breast cancer. Registered riders enjoy a beautiful, private equestrian course which can be ridden for the challenge of its jumps or as a relaxed trail ride. Lunch is provided, as are gift bags full of horse and rider treats. Door prizes and rider awards part of the day and this year’s platinum rider will receive a custom portrait of their horse by equestrian artist Betsey MacDonald. The First Company of the Governor’s Horse Guard plans to join the fun for the third year both on the trail and in demonstrations.

Everyone has a role in the battle against breast cancer, and yours may be with us. Join us on October 3rd. C.R.A.A. FUN & LEARN SHOW @ DD Performance Horses in Feeding Hills, Massachusetts. Thank you to Danielle & Mike for hosting. Dressage Rides were an awesome addition to the Prize List. Ron Steur was fantastic!! Jenn Sullivan did a great job with classes from showmanship to under saddle to over fences!! Thank you to all who participated. Great Jobs!!

WOW, the CRAA Spring Derby Premiere Sport Horse Show & IFSHA Region 1 Champion Show was a SUCCESS!!

C.R.A.A. SHOW CHAIR, TASHA SCALZO, THE BOARD & THE COMMITTEE WOULD LIKE TO NOT ONLY THANK ALL OF THE EXHIBITORS, BUT TO EXTEND CONGRATULATIONS, TOO!! The Show Committee is excited and already planning for the 2011 show!! The unique atmosphere of the Arabian and Friesian horses was AWESOME!! Two great show worlds coming together to show their stuff. Great Job by all!!
