Following God's Instructions

Scriptural Text: Exodus 35-39
These chapters give the detailed instructions about the building of the first Tabernacle. Moses had been given the precise instructions on how God wanted the Tabernacle built. As I studied this phase of the Wilderness wanderings of Israel, I noticed that the Lord repeatedly told Moses to follow the instructions to the letter. Why? There was a spiritual reason behind following the instructions precisely, but that is another subject.
Not only did God want obedience in following His instructions, but you and I should note the fact that each detail that made up the whole was important to God. He left nothing to the mind of man. Even the smallest peg was mentioned.
What are we to gain from these chapters for our personal lives? If we expect God to be concerned about the details of our lives, we must pay attention to the details of His instructions.
