Welcome to the Northwest Detachment a little piece of "God's Country" located in Canaan, CT.
The Marine Corps League is a Marine organization comprised of members who have honorably served or are currently serving in the United States Marine Corps or the Marine Corps Reserves. The League has a long and proud history, originally established in New York in June 1923, during a reunion of Marines who served in the First World War. It was chartered by an Act of Congress August 4, 1937, and is authorized to assist and aid in presenting claims before the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) under Public Law #243, passed by the 74th Congress.
The Northwest Detachment of the Marine Corps League meets the first Tuesday of each month at 1900 hours at the Couch-Pipa VFW Post 6851 on Route 7 in Canaan,CT. We invite you to join us for a meeting and a evening of comradeship. Semper Fi!
