Well, Christmas is quickly approaching and will soon be upon us once again!! I hope everyone is ready for Christmas and the joy that it brings. Remember to slow down and enjoy your family! To help you do that, the PTO will once again host our Breakfast with Santa at 8am-11am on Saturday, December 12th. We hope to see everyone there, having fun! So, sit back, relax and let the joy of the season take over!

Well, it is only October and we have already seen such a tremendous outpour of support from parents and teachers. We have parents coming in to school to do, as they are saying, "Whatever you need me to do." I just wanted to take this time to thank you again for all that you are doing and if we can have some fun at the same time then it is a win-win situation. Thank you for helping.
WE NEED YOU!!! In order to plan events and programs for our children at Sayles School, we need volunteers. The PTO only has so many members so as the saying goes, "It takes a village to raise a child", you are needed. Volunteering does not mean that you have committed yourself to the PTO as a member. Rather, you are donating thirty minutes or maybe one hour to be a body to help with the many things that are done throughout the year. If you know that you could give some time of yourself and you want to make a difference in whether a program happens or not then email me at Dssixofus@netzero.com and we would love to have you.
THREE FOR ME is a promise. A promise not only from you, but to your child and his or her school. You promise to volunteer three hours per year of your time at or on behalf of the school, to your child by promising "Three for Me". Whether it is making copies for a teacher, reading to children, filing books on the shelves, helping at a PTO event, or dozens of other opportunities, it’s all important and it all counts.
