Thank You to the tremendous community support of our 2011 Auction. With the generosity of our many donors, our auction guests and our many volunteers, SFES auctions have raised over $500,000 in 9 years.

We are pleased to announce this Years Raise The Paddle, "All Eyes to The Future"

Every year we select one of the many grants submitted during our annual grant process for our Raise the Paddle item at our Auction. This Years ‘Raise the Paddle’ promotes the active participation of students using state-of- the art document cameras with optional microscope attachments – and they will be used throughout the school district. Several groups of teachers have developed a joint grant proposal that enhances the K-12 curriculum in many subjects. This innovative effort combines new technology with active active learning opportunities so that images, even microscopic images, can be projected for class viewing. The document cameras significantly increase the opportunities for ad hoc student presentations and other active student engagements.

Our goal is to raise at least $18,000 for these document cameras and microscopes which would fund eighteen (18) units.
