Welcome new families and veteran families to a brand new school year! I know that I have been remiss in keeping this website updated in the past, however, with our move to electronic announcements, I will try really hard to do better, and to use this site to keep our Boxtops information current. I am planning an exciting Boxtops year full of new challenges and incentives, so check back often to keep up to date on what's happening!
- Collection sheets can be found by clicking the Boxtops icon on the school website, in the left column toward the bottom of the Boxtops program website.
- Collection sheets make my job a whole lot easier.
- If you don’t want to print collection sheets, a regular piece of paper is fine.
- Boxtops need to be bundled into 50s, so 10 or 25 to a sheet is perfect.
- If you don’t have enough for a sheet, leave the spots blank and I can fill in with loose Boxtops when I am bundling.
- Please don’t cover a sheet with as many Boxtops as will fit. If it’s an odd number, I find myself peeling them off the sheet to bundle them.
- Please send in any Bonus Boxtops in a separate bag or envelope stapled to your sheets. They have to be counted and bundled separately.
- Expired Boxtops should be discarded
- Glue sticks don’t work well for attaching Boxtops to collection sheets. Once the glue dries, they fall off.
- Please send Campbell’s Labels for Education to Mrs. Bowles.
- Please don’t buy Boxtops online to win a contest. People are counterfeiting them, and we will be removed from the program if we send in fake Boxtops, even in ignorance.
Though not a part of the Boxtops program, I have found a website that has helped me immensely with my kids. It is great for younger kids, I'm not so sure about middle school. The website is Handipoints.com and with a little effort on your part, it will (it really has for me) get your kids to focus on tasks and responsibilities by making it fun for them to check off completed jobs and earn points that they can spend in "Handiland". They also earn points that they can spend in the real world, as you and they see fit.
The website is safe and fun. It puts you in control, but gives them a feeling of responsibility and accomplishment. It also helps them to learn to set goals, manage finances, and a host of other things.
Handipoints has truly made my house a more peaceful and happy place. Check it out for yourself.
