is a group of ukulele enthusiasts in or near the Greater New Haven Area who gather to:
  • Improve their ukulele skills
  • Learn to play as a group
  • Assist aspiring Ukies in their learning process
  • Learn more about the ukulele and ukulele music
  • Spread the joy of ukulele music by entertaining others (See the band link to the left for more information)
  • Just have fun playing (or trying to play) the ukulele
We meet on the first and third (and occasionally on the fifth) Tuesdays of each month from 7:00pm to 9:30pm in a conference room made available to us by the good graces of Spectrum Associates (see link at left), located in Milford. If you're already a Ukie or just interested in learning to play the uke, come to one of our meetings or send us an email outlining your ukulele experience and other skills (we sure could use a bass player!) that might contribute to the advancement of this club.

Our next practice meeting will be Tuesday, December 2nd. Meetings are held in the second floor conference room of Spectrum Associates. Arrive early - the entrance is closed at 7:00pm.

NEWUKIE meetings to provide individual attention in the learning process for newcomers to the ukulele will be held on the second and fourth Mondays of the month from 6:30 to 7:45 (doors close at 6:30) in the second floor conference room of Spectrum Associates.

Spectrum Associates is on Plains Road in Milford just north of I95 Exit 36.

Be sure to check here for updates before coming.

Membership and attendance at gatherings are free. Beginners are welcome. Come to our gathering and see how easy it is to play the ukulele! If you don't yet have a uke, we have several ukuleles to loan. See Dr. Uke's site (link at left) or our Song Sheets for samples of songs with chords for the ukulele.
