Pakistan is a country with a population of 133,747,200 inhabitants, GNP: US$ 439 per capita, 34% below the poverty level, low burden of the disease with a prevalence of 0.1% in the general population and high risk of epidemic spread. It is estimated that there are 80,000 PLWA in Pakistan. Among AIDS cases reported by heterosexual transmission (67%) and IV drug use (18%). Condom marketing, intervention to CSW and IVDU are being carried out.
In the Pakistan, we face many difficulties for work in gross root level to aware The people about HIV/AIDS because of some religious and traditional Activities, but we are working hard for protection of global human. We have attended the Islam Abad Conference 14 -15 Jan 2005. It was organized by PGA New York USA. And we comet there more work for HIV. We are also work here (in our local area) to aware the people for this dangers virse
