Professional certification is a useful measure of the knowledge and competencies of individuals in the profession they represent. In the past, defense financial management professionals have been forced to choose among professional certifications intended primarily for the private sector. ASMC has undertaken to fill that gap with a challenging and credible certification: the Certified Defense Financial manager (CDFM).
