COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES!

Wounded Warrior Ministry Center “Chaplain’s Closet”

The American Society of Military Comptrollers Greater Stuttgart Chapter is collecting items for the Chaplain's Closet. The “Chaplain’s Closet” is a distribution room where patients can select clothing and toiletries when they are admitted. The Wounded Warrior Ministry Center (WWMC) assists more than 750 Wounded Warriors each month by providing immediate comfort items needed during rehabilitation. Wounded Warrior Ministry Center

Every month the center updates the list of items most needed . Note: The center does not accept used items.

If you would like to donate items, please bring them to the EUCOM Comptroller’s Office, Building 2318 on Patch Barracks, and we will ensure that the items get to Landstuhl ASAP. If you would like to donate your time, volunteers are needed to assist in sorting and stocking incoming donations and helping the Chaplain and medical staff to get these items to the Soldiers. If you would like to make a monetary donation, checks can be made payable to IMCOM-CTOF-WW. Monetary donations are used to buy specific high volume items. WWMC is supported by military and civilian volunteer efforts, and by individual, organizational and corporate gifts and funds. They appreciate the efforts of each and every person willing to share “hugs from home” and words of encouragement with those who have given so much for the cause of Freedom in our world.
