LOCAL REPRESENTATIVES NEEDED
Local Representatives needed for Forte International’s Educational Exchange Program. Forte International is a Washington D.C.-based organization authorized by the U.S. Department of State to conduct international student exchanges. We provide educational and cultural exchange programs for students, host families, and schools. We seek Local Representatives of Forte International for all regions of the United States.
LOCAL REPRESENTATIVE JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Local Representative, you will be responsible for recruiting prospective host families, conducting in-home visits/interviews, and obtaining written school acceptance for international students. You will act as liaison between the student, host family, and school. The Local Representative will supervise the placement and conduct monthly reports. It works well for persons who are currently working full-time but have some extra time on weekends or evenings, for stay at home parents, and even for retired persons who are looking to stay active and earn extra income. There is no minimum/maximum number of students you must place.
COMPENSATION
Local Representatives are paid $800 per student placement: $400 for recruiting a host family and $400 per student (10 months duration of stay) in his or her area of supervision. During the term of agreement with our organization you are free to work for and receive compensation from any other person or business.
QUALIFICATIONS
Good communication and organizational skills are a must. You must be self-motivated and have the ability to interact positively with adults and teenagers. Leadership skills and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision are critical. You should have a genuine interest in foreign countries and cultures.
Local Representatives report directly to the organization’s project manager.
