Hat Decorating Party 2008
We had a guest at our Spring Red Hat Decorating Party. Carolyn Tracy-Artis, Queen Mother of Classy Diva's & Dazzling Youngun's, shared in the fun. She also took so many pictures, she had to send them to me on a disc.

MAY 2008 WALK/PARADE FOR THE CURE
We couldn't have a more perfect day for a parade! The sun was shining, the breeze was blowing, the temperature was very pleasant and the walk was short. We met a few new chapters and greeted old friends. The Batty Hatters sponsored the Walk, which was about 20 minutes through downtown Annapolis and it was wonderful how the traffic and bystanders reacted to the women in Red and Purple! Motorized wheelchairs were provided for Red Hatters who had difficulty walking the distance. One adventurous Hatter hit a speedbump on the sidewalk and did a WHEELIE! A GOOD TIME WAS HAD BY ALL! After the parade, The Scarlet Threads and Classy Diva's & Dazzling Youngun's had dinner at Ruby Tuesday, where a prompt to meeting took place. Wonderful ideas for events were discussed, such as a Spa Day, an overnight trip to Bonsworth in Smithfield, NC for Red Hat Shopping and a day trip to Taneytown , MD for more Red Hat shopping and visiting the tea cafe.
