Welcome to Worcester Crocodiles Water Polo Club
The Worcester Crocodiles water polo club was formed in 1996 by the current captain IAIN MacLEOD , and the 'now an Aussie' goalkeeper MATT HOULDERS (and other celebrities too numerous to mention).
Senior Team
We play in the UK Midlands Division 3 and have a regular squad of around 20 players and are always on the lookout for new players.

Ladies Team
We have a ladies side and we are particularly keen to welcome ladies who want to try water polo or who have played before and would like to resume.
The ladies team trains every Sunday at 6.30pm. If you are interested and would like to know more then please telephone Pete (details to follow).
Junior Team
The Under 16's now train on Saturday Morning from 09:30 until 11:00, either turn up on the day or contact Nigel on 01684 276404 or email me by clicking on the Junior Coach link on the LHS.

We play in the Kings School Worcester's 25m swimming pool just beyond Worcester Pottery with ample free parking.
We train every Thursday (20.30-21.30)and Sunday (19.30-21.00)evenings and are always keen to welcome new members along even if you only want to "have a go".
We are especially keen to welcome younger new members who are getting fed up with plodding up and down the swimming pool and want to try something different. Water polo is an excellent and stimulating way to exercise and meet new like-minded people.

Well, if a team is allowed to have one bad game each season. This was it !
WORCESTER travelled to bottom of the table WARWICK on the back of a 20-5 home win -v- WEDNESBURY last week and confident of securing the points.
WARWICK proved no push-over and took an early 3-0 lead before Dave SWIFT got the visitors off the mark.
Jack CRUMP opened the scoring in the 2nd quarter before 'keeper Nigel PATON was excluded for denying WARWICK a clear goascoring opportunity by nudging the ball away.
The experience of 'skipper Iain McLEOD and Simon GUMBLEY steadied the WORCESTER team to a 6-5 scoreline by half-time. Attacking the deep in the 3rd, Donald DAY lobbed the WARWCK 'keeper from 7/8 yards out to level the scores (6-6).
Jim WARREN, then excluded, allowed the hosts to restore their narrow one-goal advantage before McLEOD, GUMBLEY and Mike WILSON all netted to set up a tense final quarter (10-9).
WORCESTER never lead in the match, which ended all square at 11-11.

As a certified league team we do have financial obligations to the Midlands League and we have to meet these from club funds.
