We play in the Kings School Worcester's 25m swimming pool just beyond Worcester Pottery with ample free parking.

We train every Thursday (20.30-21.30)and Sunday (18.30-20.00)evenings and are always keen to welcome new members along even if you only want to "have a go".

We are especially keen to welcome younger new members who are getting fed up with plodding up and down the swimming pool and want to try something different. Water polo is an excellent and stimulating way to exercise and meet new like-minded people.

WORCESTER Ladies continue improving

The ladies team travelled to Oxford on Monday 21st June for a friendly match. Worcester put in a strong defensive performance against a much more experienced Oxford side, in particular in the second and third quarters where we held them to 3-2.

Our two goalies - Olivia and Frankie - made numerous saves and Phoebe proved a strong pit defence. We had a high workrate throughout the match with some expolosive play coming in particular from Gemma and Anna.

Goals from Gemma and Sam in the second and third quarter respectively got us onto the score sheet but we failed to capitalise on some clear opportunities in front of goal and the scoreline finished 10-2.

In short, a strong defensive performance that highlighted fitness and creativity in attack as two areas for work over the summer. Well done, ladies!!

As a certified league team we do have financial obligations to the Midlands League and we have to meet these from club funds.

Our monthly subscriptions are minimal and depend on your age as follows:

We always have an annual social event with wives/partners which is a must for all members.
