The next Staff Meeting will be on Thursday, May 3rd, 11:30 at the ChesDel Restaurant, Rt 13 and Port Ann Rd, Saint Georges, DE. This is a planning meeting attended by key staff. However, the meeting is open to all MOWW member's. Staff members unable to attend are asked to notify the Adjutant, Mrs. Karen Kelley, or the Commander, COL Earl Seppala. Simply click on their name and you will be automatically linked to a blank email for them. Just type in a note and press "send".

The staff meeting for August is Thursday the 2nd, and for October tentatively scheduled for Thursday, October 11th.

The next Chapter Meeting Tuesday, September 11th at the Ed Oliver Golf Club, 900 N. DuPont Rd, Wilmington,DE. Click on the MAPQUEST MAP link below and your starting location for directions to the club. Our guest speaker will be Ed Okonowicz from the Delaware Humanities Bureau. Ed will speak on the Civil War. So that we can order a meal for you please return the reservation form which is attached to the meeting announcement sent to you by mail or contact COL Stan Hughes. MEETING DATES, LOCATIONS and TIMES

 The Bicentennial Chapter is a chartered chapter of the national veterans organization Military Order of the World Wars. Our focus is set forth in the Preamble which can be viewed on this page. We seek and welcome all current, former and retired officers of the Uniformed Services, as well as spouses, and children of officers, who are eligible. Contact information is provided in the "Membership" section, below. Also, you can send a message via the note pad in the lower right hand corner of this page. Provide your e-mail address and name. For security purposes, enter the two code words provided.

Chapter meetings are held at the Ed Oliver Golf Club in the months of September, November, February, and April. The agenda includes: fellowship, lunch, a short business meeting and guest speaker. Speakers provide interesting and informative presentations on subjects of law and order; patriotic education, military and US history; civic and world events. DuPont Hwy, Wilmington Staff meetings at held at the ChesDel Restaurant during the months of August, October, January, March, and May from 11:30 to 2:30. MEMBERSHIP

Active, former and retired Regular and Reserve component officers of any Uniformed Service and their spouses and children are eligible for membership.   • To cherish the memories and associations of the World Wars waged for humanity
  • To inculcate and stimulate love of our country and the flag
  • To promote and further patriotic education in our nation
  • Ever to maintain law and order, and to defend the honor, integrity, and supremacy of our national government and Constitution of the United States
  • To foster fraternal relations among all branches of the Armed Forces
  • To promote the cultivation of military, naval, and air science, and the adoption of a consistent and suitable policy of national security for the United States of America
  • To acquire and preserve records of individual services
  • To encourage and assist in the holding of commemorations and the establishment of memorials of the World Wars
  • And to transmit all these ideals to posterity; under God and for our country
