SUNSHINE STATE QUILTERS ASSOCIATION QUILTFEST
Challenge 2008

This year’s challenge combines two fun activities: Scrap booking and Quilting. Your entry must be a combination of the two, or in other words, a scrapbook page for the wall!
1. Size: Entries must be a minimum of 10” X 15”.
Entries must be no larger than 15” X 20”.
2. Choose a theme for your Scrapbook Quilt.
3. You must use at least two embellishments which fit your theme: example include buttons, stamp art, photos, and shells.
4. How you quilt is up to you. You may use simple stitch in the ditch, or more elaborate designs that complement your theme.
5. Sleeve or other method for hanging is desired but not required.
6. For examples and addition information, you may check on line by going to HGtv, then click on the link that says Crafts. Simple Quilts will appear. Click on that. Go to search box on the left and type in QLT-1022.
7. The Challenge entries will be judged at the May 2008 General Meeting. Three very nice prizes will be awarded!
