 Queen's Royal Decrees

|
I am happy to announce that the Red Hat Beachettes has begun its fourth year (6-1-07) as an official chapter of the Red Hat Society. Our chapter motto is: "It is never to late to be creative and enjoy life to the fullest, regardless of age or infirmities."
|
|
 |
Officially there are no rules in the Red Hat Society. Each chapter makes up their own way of doing things. For the Red Hat Beachettes, the way of doing things is decided by me, the Queen. These are my Royal Decrees for our chapter.

Effective June 1, 2006
- E-mail is the Queen's chosen method of communication.
From this date forward, new members will be required to have
computer access in order to stay informed of upcoming activities. (Current
members without computers will continue to be informed by chapter
"Red Hat Beachettes" friends.)
- Membership total will
be held at 20 members. (This does not include non-active
members.)
- Official colors are
mandatory. (The more purple the better -- and red bows/headbands alone, are
not considered a red hat.)
- Colors are reversed
for birthday month gatherings. (Purple hat with red outfit.)
- Each member will be in charge of planning a monthly event.
The "Vice-Queen(s) for the Day" will determine the date and time of the month's event, notify all members, and make reservations, if necessary. (A password-protected "Monthly Outing Checklist" form is available on the "Upcoming Events" page, to be downloaded to your computer and printed out to be used for notifying/contacting members. This form will be kept up-to-date as necessary, so you will need to re-save it to your computer, often, in order to have the latest information. "Vice-Queen(s) for the Day" should present this completed form to Queen at the outing event.
- RSVP to notices is mandatory -- yea or nay! Each member is to promptly acknowledge
and respond to the monthly
"Vice-Queen(s) for the Day" as to having received notice (by phone or e-mail) of the next planned
activity, regarding her intent to attend or not.
- Members may bring
guests to outings, with prior approval from Queen or "Vice-Queen(s) for the Day."
- Members of the Red Hat Beachettes are here to have fun
and positive interaction. Please leave negativity at home.
 Red Hatters have fun!
