In January, we attended the Tampa Bay Flower Show at Tropicana field.

The attendees were Queen Mom, Lady Lolita, Lady Elan, Lady Wisteria, 'Goddess of Fire, Angel of Light', Empress Nosey Rosey and two new ladies: Jean and Cindy (a pink hatter!)

The exhibits were interesting! They also had several arrangement contest entries displayed and the creativity was amazing. Once again we got that reminder that we all get... "I could do that!", but of course we don't. And in my case it would NEVER turn out like theirs even if I tried.

We posed next to a wonderful Disney presentation which included many sculptured animals from Disney movies. Cindy (one of our new members) knew all their names... but I didn't take notes. You can just see a warthog's nose and an eye in this picture.

Cindy and Jean joined us for the first time this month. Two more ladies to get to know!

After a few hours at the Trop, we headed to a cute place on Central Ave in the Snell Arcade called "La Tea Da" for tea and snacks. The tea was a marvelous blend of flowers and fruit and was a nice complement to the wonderful tiny sandwiches and sweets!

We won't break any confidences here, but one of our group had a slight delay due to a car key malfunction.... it didn't make it out of the car before the car was locked. OOPS Thank GOODNESS for AAA!
