On December 11th, 2004, three of our chapter members attended the well attended Regional District conference of the Red Hat Society. We went for the one-day option... but some of those ladies spent 4 days there!

I can't TELL you what a sight it was to see over 600 people in a room with red hats (or pink) and purple outfits! The creativity was AMAZING and entertaining. Here is how WE looked at the evening banquet!

Queen Mom Jay, Lady Elan, Lady Wisteria

The Saturday evening program included a very funny comedian who Lady Wisteria says 'was worth the price of my ticket'.

Here is our Queen Mom Jay walking back with her door prize.

Queen Mom Jay with Goodies!

The room went HYSTERICAL when she said the name of our chapter on stage while receiving her reward!

Joining us at our table was Pat, who belongs to a chapter in Seminole. She was attending by herself and we had fun including her in our group for the afternoon. You may see her if we arrange a joint event soon!

One of the fun 'Play Shops' was a presentation by a very handsome scottish man who works for the Christopher Radko organization. He created a custom wreath from all sorts of inexpensive items and some (not inexpensive) Radko ornaments. He presented the finished item to a wonderful 95+ lady who was a JOY to talk to and who is the essence of Red Hat ladies. (I wish I could remember her name!) But here is her picture.

The venue was the gorgeous Gaylord Resort in Kissimmee, Fl. We enjoyed ourselves immensly! See you soon at another LOCAL event!
