During our October 2004 outing, a wonderful time was had by small group of us. We went to a Saturday afternoon wine tasting hosted by Michael and Janine at Murielle Winery! Michael is the wine maker... and Janine is the artist, and together they make interesting wines... different ones each year... and personalized labels if you ask at no additional charge! Queen Mom Jay gave us lovely gifts of a bottle of wine with our society chapter label on them! Each person found a wine they liked... some sweet, some dry and there was even an extra-dry Pinot Noir that was nice! We were treated to a 'creative moment' when Michael created what will become a 'chocolate wine'... mixing the port that he planned to use as a base with some of the Pinot Noir. How delicious!

After sampling (and buying!) we went to Tuscon's close by in the Icot Center. A few of the staff recognized our society gear and we showed them what we are all about by having a nice, fun conversation during lunch. Newest arrivals Heidi and Rose were sworn in and promised to continue the fun. We can't wait till our NEXT adventure!
