Our first meeting was held at Macaroni Grill in St. Pete on 9/17/04. After having been re-scheduled due to hurricanes, it finally happened! The attendees were Queen Mom Jay, Deb, Amy, Linda, Terri, Adele, Cary and surprise guest Chris. Chris recently had a birthday and Jay KNEW she would love being a part of this NEW group, so she invited her for a surprise! After receiving her red hat, Chris got into the spirit of the night and we all had a wonderful time. Queen Mom gave us all a nice gift bag of goodies.. including kazoos, which we immediately used to 'play' Happy Birthday to Chris and another recent birthday girl Terri. We all pledged to have only fun and Debra pledged never to buy another glass of wine at Macaroni Grill without asking the price first! ($15 a GLASS!!!!????)
