Welcome to the Cobra's Den! We are the Coral Springs Cobras 14 U Travel Roller Hockey Team. Some of our players have been together since day one as 8u and before. The roster changes, but the tradition of the team under Coach Ken remains.....Play hard, play fair, support your teamates and have fun.
Bronze Medal AAU Disney 5/2003
The 12U Cobras won the Bronze for fourth place this year in a very tough field of teams. Danny Quinn stood tall in goal and all the players fought hard in all the games. 12U Roster included Jeff Albeck, Ken Cigalotti, Jack Josephy, Ethan Kapelmaster, Glen Kaplan, Dan Quinn, Zack Shannon and Brandon Steg. Congrats to Jack Josephy for All Tournament Defenseman recognition.
Congrats to the Cobras for taking the Bronze medal for 3rd Place. The road there was tough. The semi final game was a heart breaker as after falling behind 4-0 in the first period the Cobras battled back to tie the score in the waning seconds of the game. Unfortunately , the Pirhanas slipped one in in the overtime period.
We came back in the consolation game to shutout Team Mission in a solidly played game thereby earning the Bronze.
Ben played an outstanding tournament earning Top Goalie honors. He had the lowest GAA in our division. The forwards, Glen, Jack, Logan and Brad were among the leaders in all offensive categories. The defense, Brandon, Dylan, Danny and Jeff played solidly throughout..helping Ben keep those pucks out of the net.
Great effort guys! Go Cobras!!!
Congratulations to the team for a great effort at the Mission Thunderskate in Port St Lucie. You guys played your hearts out and Ben stood on his head in between the pipes. We couldn't get any closer to winning!
