 Newberry Parks
 Recreation & Parks of Newberry
Triangle Park, located at NW 260th Street and 3rd Avenue is five acres and is classified as a neighborhood/activity based park. It will consist of a walking trail, picnic pavilions, grills and playground. The Newberry Parks and Recreation Department and Recreation Advisory Board are in the planning phases to add items here to make this a family park.

The Newberry Sports Complex, a 40 acre community/rural activity based park located north of town on SR 45 was created with a grant and matching funds from the City of Newberry. The first phase includes four baseball fields, concession stands, bathroom, and equipment storage. This park is a dream come true for our area youth and when completed, will be the focal point of recreation in Newberry.
East & West Parks
East Park consisting of 5.5 acres and West Park consisting of 4.1 acres are similar in classification and amenities. Both parks are classified as community rural/activity based parks. Each park contains a multipurpose field (baseball / fast pitch softball / slow pitch softball) with lights, full basketball court with lights, playground, picnic area with grills, concession stand and restroom facility. In addition, East Park also includes a sand volleyball court and pavilion, and West Park includes a small baseball field with lights and a batting cage. |
