Queen Dee Dean and the Frivilous Flirts will be sponsoring this event. This event will be held at the Vero Beach Elk's Lodge, 1350 26th Street, Vero Beach. Attire: Roaring 20's Flapper dresses in Red, White, Purple or Black OR your Red and Purple Red Hat Regalia. Charleston Instructor will be there to teach you how to do the Charleston. November 13 2008 - Red Hat Pawn Shop Night - The Pizazzy Pineapples invite you to a night in a pawn shop----it is BEST BUY PAWN 2817 south us #1 Fort Pierce. The date is Thursday, November 13, 2008 at 6:30pm. There is a limit of 40 red hatters. There will be refreshments and if a Red Hatter attending has a birthday in November, there will be a cake and balloons. December 6, 2008 - Red Hat Christmas Party Sponsored by the Treasure Coast Queens Council. Time: 11AM - 3PM. This event will be held at the Vero Beach Elk's Lodge, 1350 26th Street, Vero Beach, FL. Cost: $30. Vendors, Red Hat Split.

We ask each chapter to bring a door prize (valued at $15). We will NOT be doing a Gift Exchange or collecting for Toys for Tots.

We will be having a Centerpiece Contest
(1) All centerpieces must be handcrafted - not store bought.
(2) Maximum height - 16 inches
(3) Each chapter should put their name on bottom of centerpiece (not visible)
(4) Only one entry per chapter.
(5) Centerpieces will be collected at the door at Check-In.

Each table will seat 10 people.

Menu: Ham and Turkey with Gravy, Potatoes, baby carrots, caesar salad, and Red Velvet Cake. Coffee and Tea. Cash Bar Available.

If you do not care to wear a Chinese costume, the Red Hat Regalia (purple outfit and red Hat) is necessary. This event will be held at High Tide Beach Grill, 9800 South Ocean Drive, Jensen Beach (across from the entrance to Nettles Island) Cost: 23.00 Cash Bar available. Limited to 100. Time: 11:30am - 2:30pm. Menu: Split Egg Rolls with Thai Sweet Chili Sauce, Choice of Soy-Sesame Chicken Stir Fry with Snow Peas, Bamboo Shoots, Carrots & Sticky Rice OR Sweet and Sour Port with Tri-colored Peppers, Onions, Pineapple Chunks, & Sticky Rice. It is advisable to make reservations ASAP followed by payment. Once we reach 800 Hatters, reservations will close.

* This event will conclude by 4:00 p.m. If you are making transportation reservations, please let your driver know the time as we don't want you miss any part of this wonderful Gala.

* A three course luncheon is offered. Both selections will begin with a Salad of Mixed Field Greens, Plum Tomatoes, Feta, Cucumbers and White Balsamic Vinaigrette (on the side) and end with Bittersweet Chocolate Mousse w/Mixed Berry Sauce. Beverages of water, Iced Tea and Coffee Service is included.

Pan Seared Tilapia with Pecan Brown Butter, Caper Berries, Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Sauteed Seasonal Vegetables.

Let us know if a member has dietary concerns, we can offer a Vegetarian meal.

* We have kept the ticket price the same as last year, even though expenses have increased. Please be generous buying raffle tickets which will help defray the additional costs.
* Some prizes will be distributed throughout the luncheon portion of the program.
* Raffle drawings will be at the conclusion of the entertainment portion of the program.

Marti Carroll is a Nashville recording artist - Exciting vocalist - on keyboard and guitar. Performing Ray Charles to Patsy Cline and more.
Ken Brady of the CASINOS - "Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye" out of Cincinnati, Ohio, sings great hits "Daddy's Home', Life is But a Dream, "Stand by Me, and "I Believe".

You won't want to miss the great sounds of our day in this stroll down memory lane.

A beautiful basket of vendor donated items will be raffled with proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen For the Cure Florida Suncoast. Last year we presented a check in the amount of $1,400 for research. It would be wonderful if we could top that this year. The basket is huge and full of wonderful Hatter items.

ATTENTION PLEASE
The dining room is not accessible until 11:45 - firm. Staff is setting up, program is being tested, etc. and you will not be allowed access. In the past, those who have come very early and completed their shopping, find it difficult to find seating until the dining room opens. Why not plan to arrive on time instead of early. We will be there for you and you will not experience a lag time. Help us to help you enjoy every minute. The vendors will be available from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Jay Byorne Becker, a Fine Art Photographer from Titusville, Florida will photograph any Gala attendee - QM, VQM, Red Hatter and/or chapters. His rates are reasonable at $12 for an 8 x 10, or two 5 x 7, or three 4 x 6, or eight wallet size, or twenty-four specialty (business card). His rate includes free sitting and postage. Please note that he will accept cash and checks. Jay is donating five door prizes (8 x 10s of an individual or group/chapter) to be redeemed at the Gala. How nice is that? These door prizes will be drawn early in the program to allow the winners time for their sitting.
