Carwashes

Dates and Times:

  • No carwashes scheduled at this time

*Shifts: Morning is 8:45-12:45; Afternoon is 12:30-4:15. Shift sign up is first come first serve. If you do not sign up you will be placed where needed. SIGN UP FOR A SHIFT BY E MAILING Terri Ulrick at tulrich@chapel.us by TUESDAY!!!

Location: Chick-fil-a on Sandlake Rd

If you are unable to attend a $50 donation should be made to cover your portion of the work. There may be opportunities for you to volunteer for a longer candy booth shift at Publix to cover, if you are out of town.

Pre-Sale Tickets go toward your dues. Any money collected on the day of the carwash goes to the general fund. Pre –sale ticket money must be turned in at the beginning of your shift, and recorded accordingly. It is your job to make sure it gets accounted for!! Late money goes to the general fund.

NOTES AND NEEDS:

  • We need parent volunteers to also sign up. We need a minimum of 2-3 parents per shift. You will collect money, direct the girls and help keep things organized. The kids will do the washing!
  • We need sponges, hoses (borrowed) and old towels.
  • Girls should bring bottles of water, Gatorade etc. If you plan to eat at Chick fil A please plan to do so after your shift.
  • Girls must be in dress code -- tank tops allowed, but no bathing suit tops!

Candy Sales

Each guard member has received 3 boxes of chocolate to sell for the team (they will get one more soon). In addition to the 4, if you would like extra boxes to sell to go toward your balance please let Kristen know. YOU MUST SELL 4 before any money will go to personal account. ONLY BOXES THAT ARE PRE-ORDERED will be applied to students fair share and/or possible Dayton trip. You MUST sell these boxes in a timely manner and CANNOT return them. You will be responsible for paying for any unsold candy by the deadline. $20 per box will be applied to your personal account.

Each student is responsible for paying for ALL boxes by the set deadline (TBA). If you are able to, please turn in one check for $200 at the start of the sale, then you keep the cash. NO CHANGE CAN BE TURNED IN (ONLY PAPER MONEY OR CHECKS). CHECKS ARE HELPFUL AS THEY HELP RECORD KEEPING.

BUY OUT- Some of you prefer not to sell chocolate. You may buy out for $150.

The guard will host a Candy booth on Sept 10th at the Publix on Kirkman Rd from 9am to 8pm. Each guard member will need to sign up for two/three (depending on needs) hour shift.
