DPHS 2011 Colorguard Course and Rehearsals

The 2011-2012 year has begun! Be sure to consult the Beginning of Year Checklist for key things that need to be completed as soon as possible.

The DPHS Colorguard is a full year credited class (official name: Eurhythmics). Students will participate in both field and winter season and receive a full year’s credit. This is a graded course and students must meet expectations described in the attached class overview.

Detailed practice and performance schedules are provided on the calendar. Attendance at all practices and performances is mandatory unless excused. An absence form must be submitted for all absences. For more information, see the attendance policy.

Practice logs must be maintained and are due EVERY Tuesday.

The following includes additional information on grading:

For more detailed information, see the handbook posted on the Policies page.

Winterguard, 2011-2012

Attached are the standards, goals and consequences that the winterguard varsity team defined. Varsity team members should print them out and put them somewhere they will see them on a regular basis. Remember we all have the same goals and we can get there with hard work, dedication and determination.

Practice Schedules

The varsity winterguard practice schedule has been posted to the calendar and is available in document format below. Please let Ms. Kristen know if you have any questions.
