 Committees And Chairpersons

- Club Administration, Bill Allen
- This committee is responsible for preparing the club's meeting room, setting up club banners, flags etc., greeting new members and guests and offering a weekly 50/50 drawing.
Community Services, Rod Collman
- This committee identifies needs in our community, and sets forth a process, one time or ongoing, to meet them.
Human And Spiritual Values, Mary Beard Smith
- This committee distributes spiritual publications.
Inter-club, Bob Baker
- This committee assures that the club interfaces with other Kiwanis clubs in our division.
Member Education, Bob Baker
- The Committee on Member Education focuses on Kiwanis education for new and existing members.
Midnight Run, Joe Garrison and Henry Hardin
- This commitee partners with The Kiwanis Club of Countryside to solicit donations, identify sponsors, signup runners, purchase awards and prizes, design the runs and organize the 50 - 70 volunteers needed to work on race night.
Pancake Festival, Rod Collman
- This committee is responsible for setting up, advertising, ordering the necessary food, and recruiting the 30+ volunteers needed to work during this pancake extravaganza.
Public Relations, Chairperson Has Not Yet Been Appointed
- This committee is responsible for initiating media exposure for the club's administrative and service activities.
Sponsored Youth, Walt Smith And Mary Beard-Smith
- This committee sponsors a Builders Club at Dunedin Middle School and a Key Club at Dunedin High School. Its goal is to generate interest in students to participate in service organizations.
Young Children Priority One, Sheila Deane
- This committee focuses its efforts on the needs of very young children from prenatal to 6 years of age.
Youth Services, Joe Garrison
- This committee sponsors several annual youth events including a Kiwanis Health Fair for school age children, a Terrific Kids Day, Garrison Jones Elementary School Pioneer Day, Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranch and college scholarships to graduating high school seniors.
"Happy Dollars," Bob Baker
- This committee is responsible for collecting "Happy Dollars" from club members making special announcements or who have committed humorous infractions during club meetings. Funds collected are used for club adminstrative expenses.
Dunedin Cup Kiwanis Regatta, Rod Collman, Chris Gattas and Mary Kolb
- This commitee partners with The Dunedin Boat Club to solicit donations, identify sponsors, signup sail boat race entrants and vendors, purchase awards and prizes, assist in designing the races and organizing volunteers needed to work on race days.
