Welcome to DWC of St. Johns County The Democratic Women’s Club of St. Johns County was formed to provide a network for energized and informed women in St. Johns County to come together in an alliance as a resource to Democratic candidates and to promote issues important to women.
- Members work together to support our Democratic candidates and elected officials in all capacities.
- Six are District Coordinators, 5 are Precinct Captains, and many other members have volunteered as Helpers in the precincts. Marilyn Boren is St Johns County DEC county coordinator.
Not only are we working vigorously during this election cycle, we also have members very active in PPC, Lincolnville, Choice, African American events, Think Tank, Art and other volunteer activities. Our meetings are informational as well as an opportunity for group discussions. We invite you to visit us and to join. You will enjoy your experience and we will make you feel right at home in our pursuit of democratic ideals.

- 142b King Street is a great place to mingle with local candidates.
We obtained more volunteers, also. We are featuring an artist of the month whose artwork is on display and local Democratic artisans are displaying and selling their work at Headquarters. We also have been fortunate to have talented musicians donating their time. So visit us on First Fridays and enjoy the camaraderie.
This Saturday, June 21st, there will be a parade and festival at Calvin Peete Park. St Johns DEC and clubs will have a table where people can purchase goods, get information and register to vote and to be volunteers. Please feel free to drop by and either volunteer for a while or just visit. The parade is at 9 AM and it is hoped that there will be a group of Democrats in the parade. This is a good opportunity for active Democrats to be visible so that others can see that, "Yes, there are other Democrats in St Johns County!". The Festival is Saturday and Sunday; therefore, you can volunteer or visit either or both days. If you would like to volunteer for a specific time, please call Headquarters, 825-2336.

- You may or may not know the new FISA bill (which is horrible) is being filibustered by the following Senators and Representative.
