All six elective positions are open for nomination and include: President; 1st Vice President - Programs; 2nd Vice President- Membership; Recording Secretary; Treasurer; and Regional Council Representative. The roles and responsibilities of each office are described in the By-Laws. Please contact Ellie or Gina for this information.

The procedure to participate in this important nominating process is as follows:

Please submit to Ellie your own name and/or the names of other members you wish to recommend for a particular office or you may wish to submit your own name and /or other names and allow the committee to consider the appropriate office. The club is filled with an extarordinary group of talented women. We see this even in our new members. As someone noted last Tuesday, a goal of the DWC is to encourage and develop leadership. Wouldn't it be wonderful to have a double slate, or at least the beginning of one? I think the club is ready.

The cut-off date for submitting nominations to the committee is Friday November 2. The slate will be presented at our General meeting on Tuesday November 20 with an opportunity to make nominations from the floor.

The Election and installation of officers will be at our annual meeting and Christmas Party on Tuesday, December 18.
